$600?!?! really.... this looks identical to my $39.99 waring professional wwm400 waffle maker that has unfortunately died after 10 years....why $600?

The manufacturer does not make this particular model# anymore which makes this model# very rare to find brand new in today`s market per it's price. The fact that it lasted 10 years tells you how sturdy and efficient that it was. This brushed stainless steel model# is not even available at the $39.99 price in used condition in today's market.
