77455 Cable Bender Tool, Connects to 1/2'' Ratchet, Wire Bender Tool-Maximum Bending Up to 500 MCM

Looked like a gimmick at first. But I thought I would give them a try. After 30 years of bending service wire by hand, I’ll never bend larger wire by hand again. These worked like a charm. Highly suggest, if you’re an electrician, to give them a try. You’ll never bend copper or aluminum wire by hand again

This tool was critical for bending 1AWG for my sub panel. It was able to fit in a tight space with my old Square D QO panel. Works like a charm. I’m not an electrician so it became a 1 time use tool for me.

Simple

Had to horse 25 feet of 4/0 cables into place. The bender tool really helped. Cool how you can reverse the ratchet on spot as you bend the cable right or left. Still at it- converting 60 amp/70 + year - 4)15 amp fuse service into 400 amp 2)200 amp cutoffs and new 200 amp 40 space panel. Great tool= did what it was supposed to do and didn’t break.

Too small of shoulders on the bender and the groves nick the wire. Works a little better on copper but just did 500mcm AL and it ripped through the insulation. Find one where it’s all smooth

Just got it delivered and need it for my ongoing diy project where I needed to bend 3/0 wire and it worked like charm. It’s very light weight, I’m guessing made from cast aluminum but works perfect. It does not damage wire casing and it came with lug covers to offer max protection to wire. Very satisfied

I’ve only used it a couple of times, but it has been very handy to have. It’s light and surprisingly easy to use and it works well.

I used this right away, to work 4/0 aluminum through LB, and to bend inside a meter base box. Use the 1/2" socket adapters that help this tool simulate Bulldog benders, until some of us can afford Bulldog.

This is excellent for larger cables in confined spaces, will help make neat bends with a good radius on!

Only used it once but can't tell the difference between it and my klien in use so far. We'll see about durability I guess.
