I needed some heat resistant very small wiring for a project and this was perfect. looks to be tinned copper wire and silicone insulation. Very easy to strip and strips cleanly. Nice little dispensing box, that was a plus. Super flexible and very easy to route in very small places.

I got the 30 AWG and it is perfect for LEDs and other very small wired electronics I have on my bikes. Yeah sure, the insulation is very soft. It easily bends a small radius an dthat is the main reason I purchased this so I'm happy. I have serious doubts as to silicone being superior in durability to the ordinary PVC. Maybe silicone is more heat resistant?? All I can tell you is that I stripped this wire with my fingernails very easily. It's gonna be great for making the tight bends I need it to make but I don't have heaps of confidence about the durability of the insulation. The box some people are beechin about is just fine. pull the decal off, remove the dowel the spools are on and thread each wire through. Stretch a rubber band around the box to hold the ends down. IDK if the wire is going to come over the edge of the spools in there but at least it will stay in the box.

Great hookup wire - extremely flexible and silicone insulation doesn't melt when soldering. Shipping box used as an organizer/feeder is a bonus!

This wire is not great. The O.D. (outer diameter) of the wire jacket is 1.15mm That is HUGE. Most other 30ga wire is .8mm It definitely adds when running multiple wires. I would look at other sites for wire if you need smaller.

Don’t buy the 30awg wire it has virtually the same OD as the 28awg, and I’m suspecting the 26awg as well. Smaller gauge wire is pointless if the OD is the same. Though it is a lot of insulation.

Very happy with this. The wire gauge was excellent for my project. Easy to use materials meant it was almost effortless to get wires to work as needed. The soft silicone is easy to remove with just fingernails. Which is a plus for anyone with fat fingers and big hands. No need to try and delicately remove the silicone with tools. Just pinch at the desired spot, and pull. The small Guage meant attachment was easy and the limited space provided wasn't an issue. The easy to setup box was a handy way to keep all colors organized. Only down side is the 2 min of prep time needed to string each wire through the provided hole. For most hobbies this is probably not an issue. Will be buying more later and in different gauges as well for other projects that require to other sizes.
