However, the charging case fits fairly loosely, and that makes the case enormous. This is likely to accommodate previous models in the same case, but sure not what I wanted. (The AirPod Pro2 case by the same company is just slightly too snug.) The B&W Pi8 has a unique feature and uses the case as a BT transmitter, for which it needs a special cable (USB-C to 3.5 mm). The lid of the hard case has a pocket for it, but otherwise it simply bulks up the small charge case by a lot. I am still looking for a smaller case while deciding if this case is a good interim solution.
