What a handy little item! It has the option of also plugging it in but so far, I haven't needed the extra power. Power cord isn't included but Amazon has some great adaptor sets that come with all different sizes so buying one shouldn't be a problem especially if you don't know what you need (like me :)) I LOVE that I could now hide all my wires behind my table. I was surprised that it has some weight to it. I haven't had any problem with lagging. It's nice to be able to turn things off and on as needed. I have my Cricut machine, printer and scanner going - usually 2 of the 3 at the same time with no issue at all. I'm happy with the quality and power and it's nice to be able to buy something like this and I don't have to settle for industrial!

I love the ability to disconnect and connect accessories without having to unplug them. Seems to be good quality and continues to function months after purchase.

I haven't had any bad experiences using this. It's quick and easy to use. While the shell is cheap, the USB ports are very strong and will hold any cable in place. The size is fine, I wish it was more horizontal than vertical.

This USB hub is exactly what I needed to organize my cluttered workspace and add ports for my laptop .It has exceeded my expectations! I thought about inventing a device like this several times. Happily, there is one. I was frustrated having to tilt my head sideways to see which way the USB had to be inserted. This is perfect, it lies flat and the thumb drives, printer cables, mouse transmitters or external drives are easy to plug in because all slots are facing up. I can plug them in one-handed. Each slot has a button to turn it on or off, which is handy if a large external drive interferes with the system speed. You simply turn off that button, it doesn’t eject it, it just ignores it until the button is pressed again. For example, your cabled printer won’t work if that button is off. Seven slots is perfect. With fewer and fewer USB ports on newer computers, this is perfect. I have my printer cable; mouse transmitter and two large external drives plugged in and still have two slots left for thumb drives. This is really great to plug into the back of TV that usually has very little space to comfortably insert a USB device. This way there is no fumbling behind the TV. The cord is about 2 ft. long so you’ve got lots of room.

Excellent little gadget! Works well with my computer. I use it for all of my flash drives. Makes it very convenient to just be able to download to whatever flashdrive I want and then just grab and go. And, no power cord needed. Your computer's USB port powers it! I love this product!

Just got it. Hooked it up and works perfectly! Lights are bright, buttons shut off the selected port. I'll never use that, but its still nice to have. Im using it for livestreaming, so having 7 ports is SUPER helpful! How long it'll last?? That's the question.
