Amazing Camera
This camera is amazing. Perfectly captures my entire house in great resolution. The only downside is the night capture can be a little rough as well as frequent alerts during heavy snows. The app can have some defects and bugs as well but overall this is the best option to capture a wide range of space without the mechanical issues that can happen with a camera that relies on tracking via rotating/tilt. Additionally, the ability to store video ONLY locally is vastly underrated and ReoLink not requiring a subscription while still offering a full camera settings suite is hard to come by in other cameras.

A VERY SPECIAL CAMERA AT A GREAT PRICE
The Duo 2 WiFi currently stands alone and above it's competition because of the price point, performance and features. When you need 180 degree coverage and are forced to use WiFi which I try to avoid the camera really comes thru and get's it done. I've purchased and returned a couple of Reolink models but this one is a keeper along with my stable of Trackmix Cameras. The installation is easy.... the WiFi performance is very good and the coverage and video quality are excellent. I use a splitter in a POE scenario FYI but for location testing the WiFi is super handy and worked very well. I run this camera in Blue Iris and Agent DVR with no issues. Night vision is decent (The Achilles Heel of Reolink Cameras BTW) but overall when you take into account all of the features, performance and price (using coupons or a sale) the Duo stands alone in this category as the camera to go with. Don't forget to purchase the Asurion warranty with any of these cams.... Good Luck

No cost for video recording, quality product great new app.
The camera works great and the phone app is very easy to use and reliable, the desktop app used to be a bit finnicky but the latest version 8.18.12 works very well. The old app it was difficult to download recordings, the new version makes it simple. One of the biggest pluses of the camera is the local storage I have a 128GB card installed and that is where my recordings are all located. The notifications all work well, car, person or animal and it usually gets them correct. In the playback it has a little icon for each so if I am searching for video it makes it easier to find. I just purchased a new camera as the one I purchased 2 years ago will be included with the sale of my current house. For the money I do not think you can buy a better fixed camera, running for 2 years with snow, rain, sun and hail have all proved no match for the camera, One night the camera caught someone breaking into a car that had been parked across the street. When i realized the car had been broken into I went to look at the camera recordings and sure enough it was there. What I found amazing is the audio quality of the recording you can hear the person pounding on the glass from the other side of the car. The video quality was better but I had to reduce the quality due to the size.

Current favorite security cameras, I have 3 of them
I would say these are a more advanced security camera than the average product. To get this out of the way, I would only recommend these for the intermediate or higher user, not a beginner. Because of setup, options, operations, I would only say this is for the user that has at least a little technical ability and experience. I've seen a lot of people on the reviews have issues with setup and other things, this is purely because they are a beginner. So now that's out of the way.. This is the best brand I've seen for what I was looking for in a security camera. This makes nest, ring and all the other popular camera look like amateur hour. The only thing I can say I would change on these is adding activity zones and allowing an easier way to change the wifi ssid in case things go wrong or something was incorrectly typed. The biggest negative of this type of camera is the wifi setup, not because it's hard or anything, but because for initial setup and if something goes wrong with the wifi password, you must hook it back up to ethernet and reconfigure it once again. This is one of my main reasons also to not recommend this to beginners. This is actually a security feature to prevent your camera system from being compromised, it is an advanced feature, but it makes it harder to reconfigure if you are not able to change wifi from the app. Regardless of this downfall, this is my favorite camera series, the duo line. I have two duo floodlights and then this duo wifi. It is weatherproof, it does shed rain. I saw that reolink has even said that these might be able to operate in -25f degree conditions because the camera itself produces heat. The official temp range of the camera is about 14f+. A bit too low for canadians or people higher up on the latitude, but let's just hope reolink was accurate in saying -25f is possible. For setup you simply just have to follow instructions. Unfold the paper, lay it out and read over it. Then read over it again until it makes sense to you. Just take it slow snd you will be fine. It asks you to plug in the camera for both DC power and ethernet to the router. I highly suggest getting the home hub, especially if you have more than one camera. After plugging in the camera, the app will further guide you. It will ask for your wifi and then you will pretty much be done. You will see a video feed on the app and then I suggest creating a reolink account for the app. Again, app setup is not for beginners, it is not as easy as things like nest and ring cams. Nevertheless, after getting used to how reolink does things, I think the setup makes sense and works in some cases better than other cameras especially for multiple cams. Physical install is the easiest part, use a level and predrill holes. The viewing angle on these are the most attractive feature. It makes motion cams obsolete and insufficient. You can't go back to normal cameras after using 180deg dual cams. The software setup has all the features you would want and a lot of the settings are adjustable. Things like motion sensitivity, human sensitivity, animal, vehicle, etc all adjustable. Another complaint I saw in the reviews was false alarms. Well in the settings you can turn the sensitivity down so it doesn't become a problem. I don't think most people even dive into all the settings honestly. In my experience, false alarms are not a problem after proper configuration and this will take a little time. Just observe when there are false alarms and adjust the proper setting. Rinse and repeat until done. If you aren't patient or just don't want to deal with finely tuning this thing, don't buy it and don't give it an unnecessarily low review when this product is perfectly fine for the more technical crowd. The Ai does a good job of identifying what it needs to as long as you properly adjusted the settings to your specific environment and needs. It does come with a super long power cable, about 15ft, then you have a few feet for the plug. If it's too short still, it's time for sn extension plug. There are in depth reviews on this product widely available online. I suggest getting familiar with the setup and then the features, because this will show you what to expect and if this product is even a good fit for you. Again, do not buy this camera if you are a beginner, get fussy over technical setups, or have issues with patience. Highly recommended camera if it fits your needs and your skill level.

This camera is obsolete and not working. I couldn’t connect it to any router.

I had a 1080p camera back in the day and it's night and day with this camera, quality picture is VERY clear even when you zoom in, although if you zoom in max it get very pixelated. *Example if you look at the pictures, i cant read my license plate which is 60-70ft away*. When you are outside and the person with his phone talking to you, it's hard to understand, But when you want to hear people outside, the quality is very good I can understand very well, i can understand people talking when they are talking in the street 60ft away. It's super easy to setup, just don't forget to connect it with a LAN before installing it on the wall, for some reason it cant find my wifi network( maybe its just me who is not able). totally recommend, and i will buy another one for my backyard. the angle is SUPER nice.

Very cool camera this is my second reolink but not my last. The 180 deg view is superb the accuracy of the car animal and people is second to none. I replaced 2 cameras with one after one of my old non reolink cameras packed up out the front. Well worth the extra for great quality camera

The camera is great, I can see my whole backyard and a the side driveway with one camera. I had an issue with the wifi when I made some changes to the network - I could not reconnect via wifi, just ethernet. I contacted Reolink support and they had me ship my camera to them (I had to pay shipping, not a big deal though) and they shipped me a new one and it works perfect. Thank you Jack and Luis from Reolink support :)

Truly impressed with the quality of this camera. It's a solid design and build and you can feel the quality, nothing plastic here. Secondly, it is priced really well at ~$230 AUD. Another bonus is that it integrates in with my Home Assistant.
