Amazing trim restorer, especially on matte black plastic trim. It doesn't last "forever" if used by itself. Roughly a couple/few months especially if your vehicle isn't a garage queen and it's always outside in the UV and goes through a handful of washes in that time, but it does an amazing job as a "finishing product" to really bring back trim to life like-new.Application is extremely easy and it adheres to plastic surfaces very well. Very easy to buff off paint to with a microfiber if you get a smidge here or there on it as you work on trim. So, it's basically a no-brainer product when doing finishing touches.The way you can really make this last is by doing a ceramic or graphene coat over it once you've polished black trim a couple times to bring out the luster, then it'll last a long time. I've done this to/on multiple vehicles for clients and with a ceramic or graphene overlay (when using this product beforehand) it lasts years and the look is retained much longer.Only reason why I've gone through so much of the product and restock on it often is because I use it religiously as my go-to black trim restorer for my detailing services. Amazing product and really does a good job for its intended use!

I was skeptical with the product but, wow does it work extremely well. I have a 2016 Highlander and living in Orlando the sun hits it hard. The black trim on the outside was almost completely bleached in places and faded in others. It completely brought the color back! It looks almost new...99% better. I definitely recommend this product. I used it for both my and my Wife's cars i.side and out. I didn't even tell her I did and she was amazed. Excellent product from CAR GUYS

I used this CAR GUYS Plastic Restorer on faded exterior trim and rubber around my vehicle, and the results were immediately noticeable.The product does a great job bringing dull plastic and vinyl back to a darker, richer look without leaving behind a greasy finish. It spreads easily with the included foam applicator, and a little goes a long way.I also like that it’s user friendly compared to some trim restorers that streak or become overly shiny. This one gives a more natural, clean finish that looks closer to factory trim.It worked especially well on exterior plastic trim, rubber seals, vinyl surfaces.The only thing I’m still waiting to see is long-term durability after multiple washes and weather exposure. Initial results look great, but time will tell how long the restoration lasts.Overall, this is a solid detailing product that noticeably improves faded trim with very little effort.Pros: easy to apply, restores faded trim, non-greasy finish, includes applicatorCons: long-term durability still unknown

This is the best dressing-style plastic restorer I have used. By "dressing-style", I mean that it's easy to use and non-permanent (i.e. it's not a coating). I had been using Meguiar's Ultimate Black for a long time on a Jeep Wrangler with very faded fenders. It works well and leaves a very natural or "OEM" appearance. However, the Meguiar's only seems to leave the plastic looking perfect for about a week. I park outside, and hot sun and rain seem to wash it away quickly. The Car Guys plastic restorer leaves a very similar OEM finish, but seems to last about twice as long (2 weeks looking perfect, and then slowly fading). I found it from the Repair Geek YouTube channel, who had similar results - it was the longest-lasting dressing. There are longer lasting alternatives, most notable Cerakote restorer wipes, but I'm not crazy about how shiny it leaves the plastic. I have also seen several reviews saying that it's tricky to install without high spots or streaks. Since it's a coating, if you mess it up, you're stuck with the bad results for potentially months.Note: Application matters! I've found that with both Car Guys and Meguiar's, you have to apply it generously and let it soak in. For really trashed plastic (like my Jeep), it takes 2 - 3 applications the first time you apply it. Also, it is helpful to apply indoors. If you apply it and the trim gets wet before it cures (such as from overnight dew), it will not bond. I apply a lot, let it soak in for at least 30 minutes (hours if possible), repeat as needed, and then wipe it off several times with microfiber towels. If it looks uneven, weird, or it still feels wet, keep wiping. Eventually it will level out and look great. I'll try to update with a photo later if I can.

I used this CAR GUYS Plastic Restorer on faded exterior trim and rubber around my wife’s SUV (plastic trim) and my Truck (exterior mirrors, running boards, trim around the bed and around the license plate). The results were visible instantly. This product does a great job bringing faded/dull plastic and vinyl back to a darker, richer OEM finish. It’s been 3-weeks and four car washed and I still have the OEM look. I highly recommend the CAR GUYS Plastic Restorer.

Bought product over 2 years ago, stuck it on a shelf & forgot it. Used it on my 99 Silverado today. Unbelievable, the appearance looked like it just came off the dealer's lot. Make sure the surface is clean, then cover surface with a quick circular wipe. Let it dry for 30 minutes then buff it with clean cloth. Dash, glove compartment, even the plastic running boards. I did 3 vehicles with this bottle, still enough left over to do 1 more. You will be amazed how easy it is to use & how positive the results are. I will buy it again. You should also!

Wow! This is an absolutely amazing product. I had made a major error in allowing brake fluid to drip inadvertently on the side plastics of my motorcycle and it left stains that were very unsightly. I thought the only way to fix it would be to attempt to paint or replace them. Honestly, I was excited to do either so I researched alternative solutions and this plastic restorer was recommended. I though heck, give it a try as I have nothing to lose. Holy smokes, this stuff is fantastic! I'll include some pics but I'm blown away from the results. It's been 3 weeks and they still look brand new. Even if I have to reapply the plastic restorer every couple of months, it is a great solution for me. Pics tell the story and I can't recommend this enough. Buy it!!!!

This product was easy to use, performed exceptionally well and has been very durable on my auto's plastic trim. I have only used it once about 40 days ago and despite 100's of miles and all sorts of weather, it is holding up - though I can tell it will need to be reapplied soon. I will reapply after my next wash, but this product seems to do a much better job than others that I have used in the past. Very happy! I would recommend. Do not apply to black chrome metal, it seems to leave a streaky finish after time.

Worked really well in the interior trim of my car.Followed instruction video found on the QR code from the bottle. Wiped the interior clean after applying the product 4 times and it’s still shiny. Doesn’t come off easily.

It works, my car is now 10 years old and has under 82k.It sits outside in the driveway, so I noticed it's looking dull and faded from the sun. I tried other conditioners and armor all, and they don't work. This stuff brought back the luster and black color to my dash and door frames like new!I waited a week to take another pic and it still looks great. Helped hide some of the scratches and brought back the shine. It looks almost new again inside.Was a little slick to the touch, not really oily just a conditioner cream feel, but once you go over it with a cloth to rub in that goes away. Also tried it and the black door frames outside as they were faded from the sun, it helped a bit on that, but worked wonders on the inside! I would buy it again ... husband wants me to do his car with it lol

Was really happy at first, turned my old faded bumpers into like new. But no matter how many times or coats I applied it would always come off after a few days of rain.

Tried so many brands. So this is the best. It's not oily and stay black after many wash..my car outside plastic parts was so faded but 1 application it turned black immediately.. I love this product. GREAT STUFF.
