Solid, compact work light
This light is compact (the picture showing it held in hand is to provide perspective on its size) and lightweight, but still feels solidly constructed. It is bright enough to light up a decent size work area, and the magnets are a convenient addition (one picture shows it attached to my refrigerator). When working under the hood of a car I often find my work light sliding or falling over - this one can be attached to the hood where it will stay put! And the stand allows it to sit on its own as well.I picked this up for 3 intended uses. First, I can always use a good worksite light, and this one fills that need. Second, I like to keep lights on hand for emergency preparedness. I live in an area where storms can pop up fairly quickly, so power loss is always a possibility. Having a dependable light (I am diligent about keeping my rechargeable devices charged, especially during storm season) is very important. And with my solar charger I could keep this one going at night and charging during the days. The last use I had intended was to light a storage unit. I have items stored in a facility that isn't always the best lit. This light will allow me to see my way around there.I don't have a problem with the micro USB connection used to charge this device. I have numerous electronics that still use that format, so I have plenty of those charging cables lying around. The lighting selections are high, low and strobe. With the tactical flashlights I own strobe is usually touted as being an effective way to disorient an attacker. I'm not sure if that was what the designer of this light had in mind, or if it was instead intended to attract attention in the event of an emergency, but regardless it is available for either purpose.I find this a good addition to my portable light and lamp collection.

No charging cable
It looks a good project, but I cannot turn it on because it does not come with a charging cable so I’m gonna have to find one now so I can charge it up and see if it works

Good LED work light
This LED work light is a lot smaller than I expected. It is very compact, lightweight and highly portable. The material and build quality seems pretty decent. The outer plastic shell with rubberized trims looks rugged and seems durable. It is bright for its size and has a good wide beam that illuminates the immediate work area pretty well. The beam is pretty consistent, near-daylight in color but has a yellow tint along the edge. The work light is easy to adjust and to use. It has a carrying handle that doubles as a kick stand at 6 click-in positions ranging from 0 to 180°. There are 2 strong magnets on the handle for easy attachment to a metal panel door, under the car hood, etc. It has 2 brightness settings at 800 lumens (high) and 300 lumens (low), plus a flash mode. The work light is rechargeable via a micro-USB port at the back. It takes 5-6 hours to fully charge it. A full charge lasts about 2.5 hours at high output, 6 hours at low output, and 9 hours in flash mode. It also has a USB Type-A output port for charging a mobile device. It has a built-in 3000 mAh rechargeable battery, so it has enough juice to at least partially charge your phone in an emergency.I appreciate that the work light is IPX5 splash-resistant. It has a permanently-attached silicone cover over the 2 USB input and output ports at the back. It is water-resistant only. Not submersible in water. Adequate for an unexpected job in incremental weather, such as checking the car engine or changing a tire on the roadside. The only issue I have with this work light is that the micro-USB port is pretty much outdated. I wish it would use a USB-C port instead, since I already have USB-C cables in the car, backpack, etc. You'll need to bring a micro-USB charging cable along (provided). A carrying pouch would have been nice as well, for protection (especially the 2 lensed LEDs in the front) during storage and travel.Overall, I'm pretty pleased with this LED work light. It is sturdy and well-made. Compact, lightweight and highly portable. It is adjustable and does a pretty nice job of illuminating the immediate work area hand-free. It has adequate brightness and a decent battery to last for several hours depending on the setting. The price is pretty reasonable a for a small LED work light. It is worth a consideration. It gets the job done.
