Great Primary Thesaurus
The thesaurus is a good, solid thesaurus for kids just learning about them. One that I had happened to get had a girl's name written ALL OVER the end papers, as well as in the book itself some, so be sure to check the condition before you buy it.

Great for kids 7 and up
This is great to help your kids learn and with better writing vocabulary. My son thinks it is fun to look up words and see what other words mean the same thing. It is helpful now that he is learning to be more descriptive with his writing skills which is required for state tests at his age.

They wind up going to the internet for answers like they were before we had it
It is ok for a starter thesaurus. I purchased it to help my kids with expanding their writing. There have been several words that my kids have gone looking for and they haven't been there. They wind up going to the internet for answers like they were before we had it. I will probably end up getting a different one that has a better variety. However I paid less than $1 for it plus shipping so it really isn't that terrible for what I paid for it.

Used this book to introduce and practice using a thesaurus.
Since this is clearly a small children's book, it was comfortable for my 8 year old grand daughter to use it to learn what information is in a thesaurus and how to use one. We all enjoy seeing her do independent research now that she knows how to use the correct tools needed for the job.
