These are good quality products and that's why I gave it 5 stars but a word of caution, they came in a Ziploc bag and when I pressed run my fingers to close it back, after checking them out, I ripped my thumb. It was not a superficial wound. I couldn't understand how I hurt my thumb like that until I noticed there were staples in both ends of the bag. That was unnecessary. No way I could have guessed that. So, good product but be careful when opening and closing the bag. Make sure you remove the staples before.

I used this to stop the thread from unraveling, I had been using clear tape.

I’m glad I finally bit the bullet and bought these. They’ve worked for every size of spool I’ve tried them on.

These are great for larger spools that don’t have any system on the spool for securing the thread when storing.
