Most other hubs have only 1 port as USB 3 and the remaining are USB 2. However the fourth one (on the smaller edge) is too tight. I have tried two different USB receivers and one external hard disk ... NONE of them are able to fit into this port. I gave up rather than risk damaging the devices. And all of these devices fit easily into any of the remaining three ports. So essentially - you are getting a hub with 3 ports ... not 4. If that meets your requirements then it's a great buy. The transfer speeds are much better than my previous USB 2.0 hub, and it's even charging my iPad when connected.
