I made my first made from scratch tortillas. They were simple to make, three ingredients and easy to roll out using parchment paper on both sides and a regular pastry roller. And they tasted fabulous!

I absolutely love this Masa Harina. The quality is so much better than the commercial brands. As you can see in the photo, I make my arepas with added chia seeds, and the dough handles it perfectly!It creates a beautiful, golden crust in the skillet and the flavor is authentic and rich. I feel much better serving this to my family because it's Non-GMO and less processed. If you want to take your arepas to the next level of health and taste, this is the flour to buy!

Hard to find organic masa in my area so I ordered this with high hopes. Bob's Red Mill came thru again. The tortillas were perfect! My only downside is I expected the package to produce more tortillas, which is probably due to a lack of research on my part. Wish I had bought a larger package or a second one, will be re ordering!

I bought this product for my mom as I am putting her on an organic diet. Certainly the yellow corn has a more pronounced corn flavor than the white corn which we like and is a matter of preference; the grind is a bit more coarse but makes sense and this takes nothing away from enjoying the finalproduct. I bought this specifically to make tortillas and read some of the other reviews. First, the box that I received had an expiration date one year from date of purchase so all good there. I recommend simply returning/exchanging the item if the date received is expired or within a couple months of the expiration date since Amazon items have a good return/exchange policy. Preparation certainly requires a bit of research. By that I mean that the instructions have left off one key ingredient. I prepared a small test batch as 1-cup masa harina, 1-teaspoon xanthan gum (guar gum can also be used), and added enough hot water (at the point before boiling) to reach desired consistency. I left the salt out of the mixture as that is simply added only as desired/preferred and I do t feel that tortillas need salt. The addition of xanthan gum makes all the difference and I got tortillas that did not break, stick or become gummy. This is an organic product so there are no extra additives (wonderful!) that impact the consistency; the added ingredient does not change the flavor at all; tortillas made with organic maza harina actually have a much cleaner flavor in my opinion. I have plenty of experience with tortillas; it’s a part of my culture; there are always tortillas within reach at my home.

I love this stuff! Makes the best tortillas and the price is always better on here than at my local store. I've tried other coen masa and this is by far my favorite!

Makes delicious tortillas for tacos, etc. Compared to another, very popular brand — this one is non-GMO and organic, which is amazing. Each package is re-sealable. I've tried a few brands and this is the best you can get in the UK at the time of writing. Highly recommended.

Ordered two boxes of grits. Only one box was grits, other was Gluten Free Flour. Only found out now because opening new box.

I read in a recipe that they use this masa for their corn tortillas, I see why! Very nice consistency, makes the perfect corn tortilla. Very happy with purchase. Will be purchasing again and again.

This flour has the right texture, perfect mixing characteristics and tastes delicious. Love it!Mix with water and a little salt to the consistency of soft playdoh. Let it sit for 15 minutes, grab a ball and put it in the tortilla press, grill immediately. Yum.
