Pricey but does the job.

My only complaint is speedy delivery. I usually get other Amazon products in 2-3 days, sometimes next day delivery. An order for this product is usually needed right away. However, this product can take up to 2 weeks to receive.

This is not supposed to adhere or absorb from a wound, it covers and adds a layer of antibiotic

Good to use for wound care of open wounds

This product has to activated with saline solution or water. We needed foam dressing that did not need to be hydrated. Had to return it.

After cutting piece that matches a little larger than what you need to cover the affected area. Then squeeze out as much as possible to get as dry as possible and apply a little neutral Hydrogel to help it remain stationary on the affected area before you cover the entire thing appropriately.Sure it comes packaged like thin blue cardboard, but that’s part of the magic. I use Wound Wash for reconstitution because it is basically just saline solution with the benefit of Lidocaine.

I purchased this sponge for a wound on my ankle. It is very hard & can be dampened and applied but it does dry out. I showed it to my foot doctor & his comment was he was surprised they still made that sponge. So there you have it.

Had some experience with long term wounds which is how I was introduced to hydrofera. This stuff is amazing if u have a non healing wound that has stalled out w/ other methods. I use with saline (to hydrate) and mupirocin with phenomenal results. Highly recommend
