The hot water is hot at 161 degrees while the cold water is pretty cold at 54 degrees. By comparison my fridge only dispenses water at 62 degrees. One thing I didn’t catch in other reviews is that when you install the filters you have to flush them through the water line and you’ll need to have it drain somewhere for 5 minutes per filter. It has a short hose which for me I had to run out the window as I couldn’t get it back to the sink. This is only needed when changing filters so not a big deal but something to consider when figuring out your location for install. As a family we go through about 2 cases of bottled water per week so while this initial cost is fairly high and filters aren’t cheap, this will easily pay for itself in no time and the water actually tastes better to me than the individual bottled waters. The filters are also incredibly expensive to replace. Do not recommend! ### ⭐ 3 year life line and a moldy mess *by R***A on 5 November 2025* Unit failed at three years after a regular deep cleaning. The spigot continues to dribble. Called Brio and they said nothing can be done and they will not send replacement parts. Was only offered a discount for a new unit l, but there is nothing else wrong mechanically with the unit so seems really wasteful. Additionally the UV would not prevent mold and mold would accumulate between the tubing of the tank and the spigot. Some of the tubing would turn brown with algae in as little as a week and required constant cleaning maintenance. The room temperature water would handly be used since the tubing was basically always moldy. The hot water was always hot and cold always ice cold.
