I like that it does help with my grand puppy’s cough. My dislike is the cough syrup is messy and it would be easier with a syringe so you could squeeze the cough syrup in and then put on the food.

My older boy has a collapsed trachea---this stuff is pretty expensive so I only give it to him at night.

It was with great trepidation that I ordered this set.My dog suffers with symptoms of a collapsing trachea & nothing, including the vet's very expensive medicines helped. The vet's medicines also made him pretty lethargic most of the time on top of it. Surgery to decrease the symptoms was also not an option due to his age.I then tried every product recommended to me by others who had a pet with the same issue, all without any noticeable improvement.Desperate to help him, I did extensive online research and started reading about Chinese herbs and reviews from companies that provided it.I tried 2 formulations from different Chinese herb manufacturers that came with very high ratings and a very high price tag: once again, not much noticeable improvement.I went back to my research and realized I never tried Chinese herbs from PawHealer. They have several different formulations for this medical issue but they had a questionnaire that helped you select the best for your pet's situation. I ordered this set through Amazon since it was a few dollars cheaper, followed the instructions and within a week I saw noticeable improvement but still coughing, hacking & gagging enough leaving me wondering if something needed "tweaking" to get better results.I had a fairly comprehensive phone call with the manufacturer & they were extremely helpful. We did add another dose per day as well as one other formulation. With that said, when it came, once more it took less than a week for his symptoms to decrease enough that most days he may have only one attack per day! He's almost back to his old self! Needless to say I am so relieved to see Leroy once again active, curious and comfortable.My advice is to purchase extra syrup unless you have a toy or small dog. Leroy is a medium size dog and 1 bottle of syrup is not enough for a month though it is for the dry herbs. It is my experience that Leroy does much better with the syrup than without. Check their website for dosages based on your dog's weight or even chat with them to find out how much you will need if you wish to buy enough for a month. This manufacturer is very accommodating so don't be shy if you need help from them!I was never much of a believer in Eastern medicine but you are reading a review from a convert. The key for me was trying to find a source that actually had the right formula combination.

We are still on the fence on this product. Our Pug has a severe case of collapse trachea. His cough is terrible but he's too old to have surgery. The syrup has been better than the powder. The powder supplement gave our pug diarrhea. We are starting to see some improvement on the amount of coughing he's doing but it's not completely gone. It's only been a week.

I think this product did help my 13 yo Puggle. He luckily likes spicy things, otherwise there is no way he would have taken either on of these procucts. He prefers the syrup mixed in coconut water or mixed with honey. The powder is a more difficult sell....Both products helped him get rid of some of his mucus by making him sneeze.

I have a 5 lb teacup pomeranian that was diagnosed with a collapsed trachea. He had severe coughing and I wanted a natural remedy for him. I started him on this and the coughing completely stopped but he started sneezing. I took him off of this and his sneezing has stopped so he must be allergic to one of the ingredients but it did help with the coughing!

Well I had a dying foster dog, he had bullea, so his condition was dire, it was a fact that he was not going to live but he had been coughing non stop for his 4 years of life even with prescribed medication so I wanted to find something that was natural and wouldn't interfere with any meds, and also give him some relief from his constant coughing, until it was his time to go, this in addition to some other homeopathic things, his coughing was lessened.

I have been mixing the 2 products with my dog's food. She has a collapsed trachea. I have noticed a slight difference, however she still coughs quite a bit. It's too bad, I'm going to see if the vet has anything for her. I really wanted to help her with a natural product. I do recommend trying though, since many people had had success with it.

No hissing sound from his breathing and cough stops. I add to little bread pieces for easy consumption at night before he sleeps. Didn’t consume all. So kept the balance.
