Extremely well designed and built. Beautiful finish. Product is exactly as described. The unit's left and right adjustable offsets were measured at +/- 40mm (as described). Excellant raised rubber pads to protect your mounted camera and the left-right mechanical stops save some fear from dropping your camera. The unit's base has three 3/8" threaded holes, each with 1/4" x 3/8" adapters so either thread can be used for your equipment. The unit's top piece has two slide adjustable 3/8" threads (one at each end). They can be removed but their threads are not changeable. The third thread is 1/4" and is fixed in place in the center. This is the thread for your camera. This thread too is not changeable. There is a bubble level integrated into the locking knob. I believe that the level's location here is an error as it is not usable here. To correct this the manufacturer has added a SECOND bubble level now built into the unit's base (whose location is now very usable). This second level is not mentioned or is visible anywhere in Amazon's description or photos but it is a welcome new feature. If you need to offset your camera a little on a tripod..., get this!
