better than George
Cleans like a dream and the plastic drip trays don't melt like the other ones do. Teflon doesn't chip off either.

A great little countertop grill, but cleaning can be a chore
I received this grill as a Christmas present two years ago, and it's displaced my Crock-Pot as the countertop cooking appliance I use the most. I don't know whether it drains fat more efficiently than the George Foreman grill, but I do like the setup better--the fat drips into the base rather than into a small cup you have to empty. For an outdoor grill aficionado without outdoor space for grilling, this is the next best thing. It heats up quickly and cooks most foods well. However, I found that the manufacturer's recommended setting of medium was not hot enough to grill chicken breasts adequately, and thick foods take longer to cook than they would on a charcoal or gas grill. The nonstick surface is a real plus, though it degrades in quality over time as many nonstick surfaces do. And while the grill fits in the dishwasher, I find that when cooking red meats, I still have to clean between the slats by hand, and the deep slats are hard to clean between. The infusion cup adds more scent to the air than it does flavor to the food, but it's still a nice touch and does make some difference in the taste of some foods, mainly lighter fare like chicken or fish. The grill is a little pricey, but worth it, in my opinion. Amazon.com should reconsider their decision to drop this item in favor of what appears to be a lower-quality but higher-priced DeLonghi model.

Worth Having
This is the perfect accessory to my Showtime rotisserie and my George Foreman grill. I use it mostly to grill ribs, which can't be done in the GF and which are just too troublesome in the Rube Goldberg Showtime setup. I made some bacon on it this morning and it was absolutely perfect. No burning, no uneven shrinking, no exessive fat, and those little grill marks. It looked like bacon from a TV commercial.I just break it apart and slip it into my dishwasher.

Good Grill, A bit hard to clean
I got this grill for my boyfriend who loves to grill and we live in the city. It does do grill marks for the foods, just let the grill heat up first. Also it is a bit expensive, but I got it for half the price. I don't think it is worth [money]. The grill is a bit hard to clean, but since it is non stick, it comes off easily but hard to get in between the grill. Still trying to find a good brush to get into those crevices. Also the grill is a bit big for my sink, but if I am careful, it does not splash as much. The little cup is a nice feature, whenever we remember to use it.

Live in a Major City?
If you live in a city like New York and don't have a grill, let alone a deck to set it on, this is the next best thing in my opinion. I have cooked everything on here from steaks to fish to vegetables, they have all come out perfect. The only problem I have ever had with it was when I first used it. Electric grills are alot like their gas (charcoal) counterparts, you must let them heat to the right temp, then put the food on. If you remember this then you will have great results.PS - I also tried the infuse tray (whatever the name) with garlic, oh man was it great!!! I covered it to make sure it realy got the flavor and boy did it ever!!!

Best thing I ever did
I love this little item so much I keep it on my counter top. I use it almost daily. I'm grilling aspargus as I write this review. I've been so happy with it, the only problem I'm having is that with continued use, it gets harder to clean. I let it soak after each use but would like to find out how to clean more easily. At first everything just fell off of it when I soaked it. Otherwise, it makes everything taste so good. I'm an expert at grilling Salmon. The chicken breast comes out so juicy and it definitely has a grilled tasted. Don't miss charcoal at all.
