Pacific Foods Organic Poblano Corn Chowder, 16.3 OZ

Mildly spicy (not "hot") corn chowder. Not a liquid soup. It is creamy, thick and well.. a chowder. It is lovely on its own, but I prefer to add a hunk of bread to dip into it. Would also be nice poured over some rice or potatoes. Good mouth feel. Plenty of texture to feel like I am eating something. I can taste corn, poblano peppers, chili powder. I can taste cumin, which is part of chili powder. Overall has a depth of flavor and freshness I didnt expect from a canned product. Food comes down to preference. Cant take my 5 star review for it. You may love it, or may dislike it. I just like the occasional canned meal, and I prefer that it isnt a brothy liquid soup. I prefer a more full feeling, and so a creamy chunky soup is what I look for. This Chowder meets and exceeds those expectations. I also like when other foods can be added to it to further boost the volume. So if a can of this chowder is $2.71-3.19, and I want to feed 2 people, well I would need more than one can. BUT I can instead still use one can and enjoy the flavor by using it as a topper to rice, noodles, or potatoes, or with a big hunk of fresh baked bread or roll. I intended to take a pic, but I started shoveling this into my mouth and totally forgot. Maybe next can I eat I will remember to take a pic and share.

This is great tasting soup, when I’m feeling lazy, I just open a can pop on the stove , warm up a bolillo to dip in and baby you’ve got a great meal . On the cheap too !!

This soup is tasty, a little spice snd perfect for a scratchy throat. It's enough for two servings, so you can have it for breakfast and lunch. All you do is add a Hawaiian roll and you're good to go! Also, it's affordable and breaks up the monotony of having spaghetti o's every morning!

Super delicious soup. I don’t usually eat canned soup, but its convenience appealed to me, and surprisingly, so did the taste. It tasted as good as homemade or high quality restaurant soup. I was so impressed that now I am exploring other soups by Pacific Foods.

I love this chowder. Heart and filling, I have it for dinner more than once a week. It’s a quick meal for a busy professional. I love that it’s organic as that is something I seek out. It’s so satisfying and more-ish!

I know it is a matter of taste but I like this stuff. I use it in a casserole and enjoy it

Too sweet for me. I know corn has natural sweetness but this is sweeter than that. I rarely eat sugar so your taste buds may differ but it’s not for me. My dog liked it though.

Yum. Very flavorful soup. I like most of the pacific soups.
