My husband and I tried this the other day and it worked! It took 30 minutes for it to dry (we watched tv but tried not to talk or laugh since you could feel it was stiffening up). I made the dumb mistake of putting it over part of my eyebrows but nowhere does it say to not put it on hair so I tried not to worry. Well, the difficulty of peeling off was as I expected - not too difficult, but the same feeling as ripping off a band-aid. My husband has a beard so he only did the top half of his face and was basically able to pull it off in one big piece (me, not so much). He noticed it got a lot of blackheads on the inside of the peel (I didn’t look), and I noticed a difference in how my skin felt. It was a lot softer / smoother after the face mask! Oh, and my eyebrows are fine (i only noticed one hair that came out) but I wouldn’t put it over them again, haha!

This volcanic charcoal masque does what it says and then some! The masque takes about 5 mins to dry, once applied. Be cautious with your application however, because once it’s dried, taking it off is very intense. Also be careful in known hairy areas (upper lip) as it will pull aggressively on those as well. The smell is pleasant and it’s a bit tacky to touch while spreading onto the skin. I gave it 4 stars because I am not particularly hirsute but had a very intense removal experience the first time I tried it. As you can see, I only did my nose the 2nd round. Puruskin for the win!

I have been seeing a lot of posts on facebook about people purchasing a peel off mask and have been wanting to give it a shot. After reading the reviews I decided to give this Puruskin ask a try. It takes about 30 minutes for the mask to set for you to peel off... and it works! It is quite sticky when applying but peels off pretty nicely (don't have to worry about much left behind). It does stick to the skin, so removing it does pull, but that is the purpose! It was fascinating looking at all the gunk that it pulled out (and I have a fairly clear face). One tip would be to do it in small portions on your face, instead of smearing it all over like a typical mask. This way you are only peeling one are off at a time and it is a little more comfortable being removed.

I really wanted to give it 5 stars because it really delivers on clearing the black heads and leaving the skin super soft and feeling very clean. I am taking off 1 star for pain. When removing the mask after 30 minutes (per instructions!) it felt as if I was using a wax depilator. I don't have hair on face, maybe just super invisible peach fuzz. But it took it right off and it hurt.I will continue using it and will buy again because I love the results even though the journey (peeling the mask off) hurts.

Does sort of good job at extracting gunk of pores but it doesn’t have much grip when stripping it of the skin and leaves almost 50% of the gunk still in the pores I recommend using pore extraction tools or using a silicone electric face brush with a pore cleanser and you’ll have a better chance with that

I've been using the black mask for a couple of weeks and I've been really happy with the results. I've got deep pores and a lot of black heads, especially on my nose. I've tried everything to get rid of them and had yet to find something that would work. I'm starting to notice a change in the amount of black heads on my nose since using the mask. So far, it's worked better than everything else I've tried. I'm going to continue to use it and hope to see an improvement.

I like this mask it puts on a good thick layer compared to others I have used and I like that it starts to dry fast and doesn’t start dripping. It pulls out all the dead skin, dirt, and top layer of blackheads so I can use my pimple popper tools after to get the rest of it out unfortunately I have deep rooted blackheads so it’ll take time to get my face cleared up again but with this I’m sure I can get there I rly liked this mask and it made my face clean and smooth afterward.

This was the first time I had did a peel off mask. It went on easy although it came out really fast at first! I put it on after taking a shower. After leaving it on for half an hour, I started to peel it off. It was definitely pulling out stuff! It took a few minutes to get it all off—make sure to not get close to your hair or eyebrows. LOL. It came off in lots of pieces. It was very hard to smile with the mask on. My skin felt very smooth after. Can’t wait to do it again.
