Quickly removable last line of protection
This is a great trigger lock that allows you to open it easily if you ever need it off in a hurry. It locks sturdily onto most of my firearms with a few exceptions. The lock is a relatively large one and so it's a bit of a problem on a few of my old milsurp rifles (i.e. works fine on my k31, but it just won't fit onto my swede), I cannot seem to get it to work on any of my lever actions, but it seems to work great on any of my pistols and although I have to invert it, it fits on my Mossberg 500 and still functions just fine to completely block access to the trigger and prevent it from functioning. The combination reset is simple and requires just a minute and any pointy object.

Very good trigger lock without key.
I bought these so I could lock a pistol that I wanted to keep close and loaded for home defense. I feel a keyed lock makes you hide the key and defeats the purpose of having it for defense where you will need it fast. These work well for that. I have one on my full size M&P 9mm and also an Remington 870 express 12ga shotgun. Both required a little trialing to get a tight fit but in the end they work. Every gun has a different size trigger guard so I can see how this would not fit everything. They are cheap enough so buy some and give them a try. Also they are super easy to program and you can make them all the same so you don't forget the combination. They also feel very sturdy.

Great combination trigger lock.
This is a very nice trigger lock. I especially like the fact that it is not as deep as other trigger locks. Some locks have a very long post making it impossible to fit inside a case or shallow gun vault. (I like to secure my guns.) This works inside my narrow transport case and gun vault, much better than then other combination locks I've purchased through Amazon. It would be nice if the locks dimensions were displayed in the description, maybe a couple side photos.Accepting the fact that no trigger lock can take the place of responsible gun ownership and handling, this is a nice addition towards safer storage and transport.

Good Design
Works great, I love the design of having the release button easily accessible to just pushing it with your thumb. Will defiantly order more in the future.

Dosent fit a Kahr
Seems to be a good trigger lock, but it dosent fit a Kahr cw45, it would be nice if it would have some kind of list of known brands that it fits so you dont waste the money to buy it.

Love the combo
My aftermarket grips are slightly larger than stock. S&W 60. So I had to mount lock sideways, gets the job done. Love the combo.

Not universal at all
I tried this on a Ruger 10/22 and a Sig p239. It fits neither, which surprised me based on all the positive reviews. The lock has a grooved channel and raised peak on the inside faces, presumably to grasp the front of the trigger guard when oriented the way it is pictured in the packaging. In the case of the rifle, the stock was too wide, or the trigger guard too small, for this to seat properly. You can engage the locking mechanism and clamp it pretty tight, but it does not seat on the trigger guard and the trigger could be manipulated with some effort by moving the whole lock assembly as it isn't actually fixed to the rifle, just fixed in the perimeter of the trigger guard. Similar situation with the sig, though in that case the issue seems to be the width of the slide. Given my experience I find it hard to imagine this device being very usable as intended in anything but firearms with very narrow stock or slide profiles. Maybe also revolvers with their narrow frames below the cylinder. As afar as I'm aware, the 10/22 is one of the most popular rifles in existence and the p239 is not uniquely sized as far as compact semi autos go so I would t consider this device to be anywhere near universal, at least to use as intended.

Good product all round
Easy, solid, good price as compared to others. The many locking positions built into the rubber nibs of the lock are great. Rifles or pistols, good lock.
