It was very easy to connect to my existing set-up.

I replaced a BT 4 handset with this system as i was very dissatisfied with voice quality of the BT product. However the BT set only required you to add a person's directory entry to one handset and it is automatically available across them all. The Gigaset requires you to copy the directory entry to the hand sets one at a time. You can copy the entire directory but only one hand set at a time. It is annoying but I can live with it.

The volume could be a little louder that's my only gripe with these phones But in saying that they are a first class product easy to set up and great looking with a precise clock when in standby Well worth the cost

An initial response to my first experience of VoIP using it - beautiful sound quality!I bought the baseless extension version to go along with my move from an analogue phone line to VoIP phone calls via the VoIP-ready FRITZ!Box router supplied by my internet and phone provider.I have no idea yet what my long term rating will be, but in terms of easy setup just following the supplied instructions, making my first updates to the address book, and the sound quality of my first long chat to family, the initial rating is definitely 5 stars.Goodbye expensive monthly copper line rentals and high call prices, hello the future.

Great although a little expensive

Gets the job done. My only grumble is that if an incoming call is answered using one of my existing DECT phones, then this one shows that call as a missed call. I'm not sure how or if this can be fixed.Update: No longer gets the job done. I have no idea why but answering an incoming call with the green button looks like it is answered on the screen, but the phone its self keeps ringing. I no longer have the packaging it came in, so returning it isn't an option.

Our provider ZEN switched our service to digital. Our analogue phone can be connected to the router but it is in an inconvenient location. I can't easily access the phone beside our Fritz!box router. I therefore needed to get a digital phone that pairs easily over wifi not by cable. After several frustrating days of seeking out a phone I found this one. Other phones are not explicit on how to pair wirelessly in their instructions and I had to send 2 phones back! However this connected straight out of the box. I turned the phone (it had enough charge) on and it asked to 'register', I then pressed the Fon/WPS button on the router and then pressed ok on the phone, seconds later it was up and running. All I needed to do after that was make personal configurations on the handset, ring tone, number directory etc. Only cable needed is for the charging base.

I bought this as I am switching to digital voice and wanted a phone that would work with my Fritzbox router which has dect base built in. This phone works perfectly with router allowing all actions and services. It looks good and sound quality is excellent.
