They're Buttermints. Individually wrapped, taste good, and each one has a nice little "Thank You" message on the wrapper. Very polite. But I think we're missing a HUGE marketing opportunity here because sometimes "Thank You" isn't really the message you're trying to send. Sometimes the message is: "You really need a freaking breath mint, bro." And handing somebody one of these is apparently the socially acceptable way of saying it. No awkward conversation. No hurt feelings. No explaining that whatever they had for lunch has apparently established permanent residency somewhere between their teeth. Just smile, hand them a mint and hope they TAKE THE CLUE. If they don't, give them another one. If they still don't get it, put the entire bag on their desk. Beyond their usefulness as a subtle personal hygiene intervention, they're actually really good mints. Sweet, buttery, melt in your mouth and individually wrapped so you can leave them out without wondering who has been digging through the bowl. I bought mints. I received mints. They taste like mints. They were the agreed price and they perform both their advertised function AND the unadvertised function of allowing you to politely tell somebody their breath could knock a buzzard off a gut wagon. Five stars. Thank you! And sometimes... TAKE A MINT, BRO.
