Maintenance is king.
This is the 2nd time purchasing this over a two year period. My o rings had cracked on the first but that was my fault for maint failure. The second one had a leak in the cap. But I think I messed that up too somehow. But all in all works fine just lube you o rings during storage.

A good way to close off pool water from going into pool pump
Had to order a new one since other one I couldn't turn the valve anymore it does a great job at blocking the water from going into the filter so you can change it, its not hard to turn, I did struggle alittle bit to put the other tubes on, but its a snug fit and very easy to install

Threads Loose
Works OK, the threaded part does not tighten up very well. I had to add some teflon tape to the threads to get it to grab better. I think I need to get a clamp and not count on the threads.

Great control value for drain pipes
Outstanding tool, couldn't have built my pump / filtration system without it. Jerry rig would be what you call my style but this steel frame pool had two drain holes that I needed to cap off, this tool tied them together into one valve that I have control on shutting off and turning on. Now it drains and flows into my settlement chamber, filters out and gets pumped back into pool, I can control how fast the drain is now

The threads on this item are not compatible
This does not fit, the threads on this item are not compatible. It will not thread onto the new device. I’ve even tried both ends of the hose. It seems the thread pitch and thread count are way different from either of the best way or in tech or Coleman fittings.

Works good for my use. I don suggest to buy a holder to secure the hose. I bought one on Amazon.

Loose connection fittings
While the t valve works. When threading it on the connection hose the threads slip.
