Expensive for what it is
It does what it says on the tin. It protects the outdoor unit and looks good while doing it. I do like the fact they have created it from multiple copies of the same casting, nice bit of engineering there, but it’s way overpriced for what it is.It’s has the option of mounting via screws (supplied) or you can cable tie (also supplied) it to a gutter down pipe. The cable ties are a bit low quality though as by my own not paying attention I put it on upside down so needed to release the cable ties and they broke. Would have been better to have reusable ones supplied, but it’s installed and giving protection to the outdoor unit.If I had a 3d printer I’d have just printed an enclosure but until then this is the best option.

Essential accessory for Netatmo weather station.
This housing protects the outside sensor from the weather. Without the housing it is difficult to position the sensor correctly or protect it from the weather without interfering with its ability to monitor the weather.

Perfect !
great fit - perfect - not oversized (like lower cost alternatives)

Nice addition for the outdoor monitor
Great bit of kit to protect the monitor & help to ensure consistent measurement, just a bit pricey (even when on offer). The Netatmo outside monitor fits nicely inside it though.

Protective Cover for External sensor
Looks as though it will do the job.It transpires that the "external sensor" on its own isn't reliably waterproof (intended for semi-sheltered position under house eaves), which is rather misleading! Surely an "external sensor" should cope with being "external"??!! Makes the whole Weather Station product even more expensiveSeriously overpriced for what it is. I did look for alternatives - I'm sure they do exist (or even inventive diy solutions), but I needed to get it mounted properly and protected before imminent storms.I do also query how long a practical life it will have, exposed to the elements. Somehow, parts of it feel not quite rugged enough to cope with sun/rain/wind/temperature. In view of its description, I'd expect a 5 year life at least - we shall see...............

Seems work well
I’m not sure about other users which have indicated that it isn’t a true ‘’radiation shield’’.I use mine purely to keep the rain off so the humidity always reads correct as the sensor can become saturated after a downpour.Terms of reflection of the suns uv rays I can’t comment as the placement of my sensor receives no direct sun.It definitely keeps it dry at least.*UPDATE 07.06.2024*I've moved the screen into a location where it receives full sun away from any buildings on open grass. It seems to do its job well and protects the sensor from the heat of the sun, while giving reasonable readings closely resembling shade temperatures. This also allows you to record more accurate night temperatures which is often overlooked as you can move your sensor away from any heat sources!Added one star!

Don’t see the point
I bought this so I could move my outdoor sensor closer to the indoor unit. Before the purchase my outdoor unit was under a eve that was 100% in the shade, after reading about this cover, they made it sound like it could be in direct sunlight and the temperature readings would not be affected, please don’t let this fool you, i have since moved my outdoor unit back to its original position, it’s still in housing but that is only because I missed the return window and like to get my moneys worth.
