These mats are great and go with the buttons of the same brand. If you have smart dogs and like to train with them, then this is a fun way to communicate with your dog. I have 2 dogs, but only 1 likes his buttons, and I use these mats to add additional buttons as we continue to train. I can tell by the expression on his face that he is having fun and he thinks he is quite the big deal when he presses his buttons. He understands exactly what he is doing when he presses any of the buttons. It's fun to work with him, and to get closer with him, but it does take time and effort, and he does have to understand the meaning of the words you use before he can understand what he wants when he presses the buttons. I would definitely recommend this for anyone willing to work with their dog, and who will spend the time and effort to train them.

Really like the way this mat holds the buttons in place but also you can leave in the piece to not have a gap if not using. Has held up well and doesn't slide around on the floor.

This is a pretty good product - it's sized correctly for its matching buttons, and the foam has held up well. Buttons are secure, and the foam pieces connect to other boards. The only issue I have is the fabric covering on top. The decals don't adhere super well, and the fabric traps pet hair, which is a little annoying. I wish there was a smooth plastic covering, rather than the fabric. But it does work well, and if you use these buttons, it's keeps them organized and in place.

I purchased this mat for my dogs buttons I purchased from Amazon. The buttons are a different brand from the mat and they still fit. They hold the buttons in place and keep them from slipping. It is a very functional mat that is easy for my pup to use and press the button - which she does a lot when she wants to go for a walk! lol. The color grey is exactly pictured in the listing and overall it is a great value. Will buy again if I teach my pup more buttons!

I kinda regret this purchase. I've like the talking buttons in general, but I didn't realize that people might use different words for activities. In my case, I use "dinner" for meals. This set uses "eat," and the words are fixed. You can't change the name. The benefits to having fixed words is that my hyper dog can't reset the word by accidentally smacking the programming button when she's trying to "talk." A better solution for all the buttons would be to move the programming button to the base. Maybe even put it in the battery case. I've also had issues with the buttons sticking. On other sets I've had that problem with the programming button, and with the main button (like on these) sticking over time. In general they are a nice value for those of us trying to break into talking buttons without breaking the bank. I haven't tried any other sets, so I'm not sure if they are more or less durable than some other options. My pup gets very excited and will get rough with smacking these things. I've seen other sets send the word to your phone. That would be nice, but those are also much more expensive. So it's nice to have this option and not break the bank. If you're just starting out, this is a good set to get, as long as you haven't established your own words. The box does show what each button is programmed to say. It was my bad for not paying more attention to that.

I’m loving this mat - great way to keep my dog’s buttons organized and not moving everywhere! It is lightweight to make it portable but durable enough that my dog won’t ruin it. I’ve been looking for a way to easily transport my dog’s core buttons when we leave home, and this will be the perfect way to do it! It has six holes that each come with a cover, so you can cover up any that are not being used. The buttons fit nice and snug while still allowing the sound to be perfectly audible! One thing I learned is to angle the record button so it sits in one of the corners of the hole - this helps prevent the record button from being reset accidentally!

I love these mats! The way they're crafted is great for adding on as you grow with communicating with your pets, they hold the buttons in place well if you order the correct size, one set of buttons we own doesn't fit into the cutouts that holds the brand's & a few others in place perfectly. It makes it easy to interchange the buttons & / or the mats for different areas of the home where required.

Works as it should

Excellent base for the talking buttons. Keeps them in the same place so the animal (my cat) can learn easily. Quality material and lightweight.
