I switched a vegan diet earlier this year and needed to replace my chicken/beef stock with vegetable stock. While I like making my own, there are times when it's just not possible and I need something to reach for. I wasn't sure about this particular brand as I have another I'm fond of, but due to the high price of the other, I decided to give this one a whirl. So glad I did!Full-bodied flavor that isn't too salty or onion-overwhelming. I think you know what I mean -- so many vegetable broths just taste like they boiled onions for 10 days and then at the end, tossed in a few other veggies. I appreciate onion here and there but I'm not a fan of the overwhelming onion flavor. Upon first opening this jar, I got a strong whiff of onions and was concerned that this would be one of those. To my great pleasure, nope!I used it to make a killer veggie soup the other day. Super delish!
