Perfect bowls for my cat. The water bowl holds enough that I rinse and refill the bowl every week (to keep sanitary, it is usually still half full). The food bowl seems to be easy for my cat to eat out of. I find the simple design cute and not distracting in my space. My cat hasn’t pushed these bowls around like her old close to the ground bowls, so either it is less slippery or she minds them less. I did initially have issues for my cat adopting these bowl, she would pull the food out and drop it on the floor and at first not drink from the water bowl, but now I keep out two water bowl that I find evidence she drinks equally out of just to be safe about her hydration. !!Quick warning to newer cat owners, cats are prone to kidney disease and hydration based illnesses. Please if you are getting new and unfamiliar bowls for your cats keep out what you know they drink out of and pay attention. My cat has only drank in front of me a handful of times in 5 years, but when she eats dry food water levels go down quick. If you are having issues already with getting your cats keep to drink water and are investing in this to help, also look at buying a water fountain, a lot of cats want to drink from running sources as those would be likely clean in the wild.

I love them and so does my cat. Great height and really good width to avoid whisker fatigue. I searched for a while before I got these and I'm glad I did. Great value too.

This kitty bowl set is very sturdy. Not prone to tip overs if set to the side, close to a wall, out of foot paths. Arrived in perfect condition and well made. They have a clean, simple attractiveness. However, turns out that they're not tall enough for my big guys. Their necks still bent down a bit when eating and drinking.

I have had cats for 35 years and have tried a lot of different dishes. These are the best I have ever received. They are raised to the perfect height for my elderly cats and, unlike other raised dishes I have purchased, are wide enough so that they do not cause whisker fatigue. Anyone who has cats knows that if the feeding dish irritates your cats' very sensitive whiskers, they will either not eat at all or will push the food out of the bowl to eat it. These dishes eliminate that problem. Plus, they are ceramic eliminating the risk of bacteria building up as it does on plastic dishes. The matching water dish is also perfect for the same reason. It is wide and deep but not too deep. I only feed my cats canned food, but these would work equally well for dry food. I bought 3 of these dishes and the matching water dish. My cats could not be more pleased and neither could I. Highly recommend and a great value!

my cat has long-standing digestive issues, and is also older now. i'd noticed she had started to eat in short bursts; brief nibbles and many passes instead of really staying at her bowl to eat properly. i am not certain if she has any arthritis or other specific conditions beyond age that might make her uncomfortable, but i wanted to give these elevated bowls a try just in case it would help her. after looking at many, i chose these because they were simple in design and less costly than others. they arrived fast and excellently packed. i was pleased by the good quality of the ceramic and the visual appeal. but the test was whether the cat would accept them, and if they might help her eat longer/more comfortably... she eyed them with grave suspicion when the freshly washed and filled bowls were set on her tray. she does not appreciate novelty. she seemed immune to their visual charms as well, and gave me a look that plainly suggested i had failed her yet again. subsequent looks implied that she had rather starve than go near something so obviously dangerous. i was prepared for this. i opened the packet of the favourite 'treat' food (rabbit in gravy) and placed it on top of her posh special diet wet food, and backed away as if nothing was further from my mind than staring at her whilst she ate, or didn't eat... she ate the rabbit and left her other food, and ran off as though the hounds of hell were after her. in the morning, it looked like most of the food was gone. HA! i opened a fresh serving and smugly placed in her bowl. she rejected it. i left it for a while, and then the next time i passed through the kitchen i anointed the rejected food with special treat #2, a geriatric cat supplement sauce. this did the trick, she relented and ate the food, and stopped looking at the tray like a komodo dragon might leap forth at any moment. by day three, i noticed that she did seem to be spending longer at the dish instead of doing little micro-meals. there has been no more nonsense about invisible lizards or what-not. hallelujah! i wish i'd discovered these ages ago, when it first became apparent that she hated her whiskers touching a normal bowl, and i had to switch to plates for her food. now both food and water are in non-impinging bowls, and honestly she seems happier. and they really do look smart on the tray, instead of the old random dishes designated as cat feeding ware. 5 stars from our household!

In hopes to aid in clarifying, this is meant as a set of two diffrent bowls. One is shallow (for food) the other deeper (for water). I agree, i dont see much point in the deeper one but im not the designer- if anything because i simply slot another smaller bowl/ plate inside them for quick switchouts, the deeper one aids a tilt of the water which i do like as it makes it pool to the side so i dont need to fill it up so much. Even if they are diffrent in depth they are the same height ( there is a millimeter off, sure). They are tall and not meant for kittens or small puppies but rather senior adult animals- they are meant to aid in age related trouble. In fact i wish they were slightly taller, i placed a reversed tray under them to add afew extra centimeters- but they are the tallest i could find. And yes, they are heavy porcelain, and will shatter if you drop them, as porcelain does. I like them, it does seem to aid my old cat in keeping food down.

J’ai récemment acheté ce lot de 2 gamelles surélevées en céramique et le changement est radical. Si vous hésitez encore à passer au format surélevé, voici mon retour d'expérience : ​Design ergonomique : La hauteur est parfaite. On voit tout de suite que le chat force moins sur son cou et sa colonne vertébrale. C’est beaucoup plus naturel pour lui de manger ainsi. ​Anti-vomissements : C'était mon critère principal. Depuis qu'il utilise ces gamelles, mon chat ne régurgite plus après ses repas. La digestion semble bien meilleure grâce à l'inclinaison et la hauteur. ​Respect des moustaches (Whisker-friendly) : Les bols sont larges et peu profonds, ce qui évite la "fatigue des moustaches". Mon chat ne finit plus ses repas stressé et il ne reste plus de nourriture sur les bords. ​Hygiène et Qualité : La céramique est de superbe qualité, lourde et stable (pas de gamelle qui glisse dans toute la cuisine !). C'est bien plus sain que le plastique et cela passe sans problème au lave-vaisselle. ​En résumé : Un produit à la fois esthétique et surtout très fonctionnel. C’est un excellent investissement pour le bien-être et la santé de nos boules de poils. Je recommande à 100 % !

Super gamelles ! Larges et peu profondes, assez lourdes pour rester en place, et facile à manier car leur pied est creux et lisse. Lors de la vaisselle, l'égouttage est facile, contrairement à d'autres gamelles dont le pied comporte des pièges à eau. Elles ne sont pas inclinées, mais cela convient très bien à mes chats.

These are the perfect height. Both my cats now hydrate more often and our picky cat eats all her food now. The bowls look great! The water bowl being deeper is also a great idea while still maintaining similar appearance. An adhesive base to reduce chances of tipper over with cats running around would be great. I will do this myself as it's likely to happen eventually.
