Love this motherboard!
My previous gaming PC had an ASRock B460M motherboard that ran flawlessly, so I decided to stick with the brand for my latest build with an i5-13500 CPU. As the foundation for every PC, the motherboard can make or break your entire experience. The B660M board I received had a newer BIOS that recognized the 13th gen CPU without having to do a no-cpu BIOS update. The latest BIOS update enables the board to run 14th gen CPUs as well (according to the ASRock product page). The B660M is very similar in layout to the B460M, and everything works as it should. I maxed out the RAM with 4x Patriot Viper 32GB DDR4 sticks (128GB total), and jammed in an ASUS RTX4070 Super graphics card. Despite going with mid-level hardware across the board, this baby flies through every game or data task I've thrown at it. Needless to say, I'm extremely happy with my purchase!

Great board I would give it 6+ stars
Ok first forget the specs on Amazon, this is an LGA1700 not for a "Intel Core 2 Duo" I don't know where they got that...lol. So this will be a little more money then the cheapest B660 motherboards, but you get what you pay for. This has real good VRM's for its price 2 m.2 slots and 4 usb 3.2 and support for a 3.2 on the front panel. It could use better audio and a faster Lan, but most people can't/won't use or notice the difference. The bois flash back makes it easy to drop a 13th or 14th gen chip in. Asrock make really good budget boards both the B560 and B550. On the budget end I would only use Asrock or Gigabyte...ASUS and MSI are fine on the higher end, but their budget boards kind of suck.

Nice
It's an excellent budget board for it's price, the boot-up into OS had no issues and it was friendly in updating the bios as well. I haven't met any issues with my i5-12600k, since I use it for playing and productivity. I don't get it why people criticize it for being bad in VRM when it's never meant for high-end thermo-oven CPU's. It's quite sturdy enough considering it slipped from my hands when I was trying while trying to put it on the cardboard box packaging it came with, therefore my conclusion is that this board does what it's supposed to do in its price range.

Horrible customer service
Board works good. Customer service is a joke. This is a home school computer and memory slots didn't work from the start. Took 5 months to finally get a response on replacement. Then I was told that I have to send mine back and wait a week until the send the new one. So 2 weeks or better with out a class computer for something that arrived bad after a 5 month wait

Great little Mainboard - with hidden features
This is a great little Mainboard. Everything setup easily, there were no hiccups at all. After the OS was installed all the drivers installed like they were meant to. Smooth as silk. Everything was as advertised with one exception. This board supports ARGB / ASRock Polychrome Sync. Nowhere in the ad or even in the manual does it state or say thee are ARGB LED's on the under side of the board, just under the SATA 2 & 3 ports. I was rather surprised to find that when I powered on the PSU those LED's lite up. With the gen.4 NVMe SSD drive installed makes this computer boot time so fast. From the time the POST screen shows to the usable working desktop is less than 15 seconds. For the price, I would defiantly purchase again.

As Rock LGA 1700 Mother Board
A little disappointed that the newer mother boards no longer support internal DVD/CD players. Was not aware of that change. should be a non-issue as I no longer have DVDs. Still, I think there should have been a notice of the change. Adequate USB ports. After installing all equipment including external DVD player still have an empty USB port. Installation was easy. After adding CPU, memory, and M2 and booting, Microsoft asked some identifying questions and installed Windows 11 along with all programs I had on the prior mother board. Wi-Fi capability made that fast. Did not need to install MB drivers as Microsoft installed all appropriate drivers. All features I had installed of my prior LGA 1151 board works and faster with the exception of Any DVD and the internal DVD Drive. I am happy with the product.
