Perfect for an Expanding Orchard
I needed a simple way to apply tension to a large orchard trellis system. A friend recommended Gripple products. As we're constantly growing, I bypassed the smaller tool, and went straight for "Contractor Grade." I'm so glad I did, as this tool is invaluable, both in reliability, and quality. Fine for tighting gripples . . .
The stripper function is terrible! Totally missing a simple function to hold the wire in the channel. That would have been a game-changer and made the tool unbeatable. VERY frustrating to use to strip the wire ends to prepare for tying.
