A consistently fine cup of tea.
Still think this is the best tea to ever come out of England. Taste is absolutely consistent. A fine cuppa every time.

Great taste
As a tea enthusiast, I've tried my fair share of blends, but PG Tips Tea Bags stand out as a true classic. From the first sip to the last, these tea bags offer a rich and satisfying experience that embodies the essence of British tea culture. What sets PG Tips apart is their commitment to quality. Each tea bag is crafted from carefully selected tea leaves, sourced from the finest tea gardens around the world. This attention to detail results in a brew that is consistently full-bodied and flavorful, with a distinctively robust character that's perfect for any time of day. One of the things I appreciate most about PG Tips is their unique pyramid-shaped bags. Not only do these bags allow the tea leaves to unfurl and release their full flavor, but they also make for a visually striking presentation. It's a small detail, but it adds to the overall experience of enjoying a cup of PG Tips tea. The flavor profile of PG Tips is wonderfully balanced, with notes of malty richness and a subtle hint of bitterness that is perfectly complemented by a splash of milk. Whether enjoyed on its own or paired with a biscuit or slice of cake, PG Tips tea never fails to hit the spot. In terms of brewing, PG Tips tea bags are incredibly versatile. Whether you prefer a strong cuppa or a more delicate brew, you can easily adjust the strength by adjusting the brewing time. Plus, the convenient individual tea bags make it easy to brew a perfect cup every time, without any mess or fuss. Beyond the quality of the tea itself, PG Tips is a brand with a rich history and a strong commitment to sustainability. They are Rainforest Alliance certified, ensuring that the tea is ethically sourced and produced in a way that protects both the environment and the communities where it is grown. In conclusion, PG Tips Tea Bags are a timeless classic that never disappoints. With their rich flavor, convenient packaging, and commitment to quality, they are the perfect choice for tea lovers everywhere. Whether you're starting your day with a morning brew or winding down in the evening, PG Tips is sure to satisfy.

Gross -Used to Love PG Tips
Gross. This is not at all the quality of PG Tips that I've been drinking for years. It's very bland instead of the usual full body flavor. I thought maybe it's because I usually get the pyramid bags instead of these flat ones but I'm reading that the company has been sold to a larger corporation and many people are also unhappy with the quality. It honestly tastes like crappy tea from the dollar store. I decided to return it but when I went to do so realized it's not eligible for return. Now I'm stuck with 480 disgusting tea bags. I imagine they expected this result since they are now producing an inferior product and that's why they made it not eligible for return.

Classic British Tea — Perfect Every Time!
I’ve been drinking PG Tips for years, and it never disappoints. This bulk pack (2 x 240 bags) is perfect for keeping my pantry stocked — no more running out halfway through the week! The pyramid-shaped bags really do make a difference, letting the tea leaves move around freely for a richer, smoother brew. The flavor is bold without being bitter — a proper English breakfast tea that holds up beautifully with a splash of milk. It’s my go-to morning cup, but it’s just as good for an afternoon pick-me-up. The packaging was sturdy, the tea arrived fresh, and the value for this size is excellent. If you enjoy a strong, traditional black tea, PG Tips is hard to beat. ☕ Highly recommend for any true tea lover!

nice cuppa, even better 'deal'
First time tried PG about a year ago on a whim purchase @ CVS (had never heard of it before). I thought, 'well, if it is supposedly "Englands #1 tea", it's gotta be pretty darn good?'. I very much enjoy it's unique flavor profile as a morning cuppa prepared hot, with cream and honey. Personal opinion: is a little strong for a standard sized cup... perfect for me though, as I prepare in a giant mug and it is just right versus other brands which end up being to weak for my large cup. Found what I thought was a reasonable deal @ WallyMurt ($19 for 240). Just after purchasing that one, I found this killer deal on Amazon (better than half the price). I was concerned about ordering online, as some of the other reviews stated the flavor/quality was off in the tea that they received (and that there was any inconsistency to begin with, wth? fake brand?) Luckily, I did not find this to be the case with my order. 480 bags for $18 ($0.0397 per cup) is as good as it gets. Mine shipped directly from UK, seller WorldWideMart UK. (06/2019 purchase - 04/2020 expiration). The flavor is as I expected it to be, and their shipping was adequately timed. Just worth mentioning perhaps, the WM purchased box had expiration of 05/2020... I would have thought the 'fresh' from UK would have been a better expiration date, not the case tho. just some friendly other cuppa recommendations for my tea-loving friends (I will stick to all similar-ish to PG, & similarly prepared hot/cream/honey, and readily available basic stuff): my all-time favorite morning cuppa is Foojoy Yunnan Pu-erh, cheap (I buy direct from Asian market for 25% of what it costs online), conveniently bagged, and seriously tasty. Being a Chinese tea, perhaps one would never consider it prepared English style. Give it a try though. Smoky and earthy, with a strange and balanced richness that oddly sits in the background rather than up-front like an acidity (hard to describe), pairs incredibly with the cream/honey. My personal heaven. loose leaf: Edinburgh Tea & Coffee Co, Scottish Breakfast um, daily drinker: Bigelow Earl Grey (*gasp*, hey be nice, it's free at work! Now that I have 480 bags of PG Tips, though: bye Bigelow) honorable mentions: Twinings Lady Grey (something a little different) Twinings Prince of Wales (nice change of pace)

The cup that cheers.
Ah wonderful black tea! People keep trying to get me into other, herbal teas but I'm sticking to black tea with a little milk. The cup that cheers. For us from the British Isles and Ireland, it's a comfort and sociable drink that neither camomile or ginger teas can't provide, because black tea is the tradition. Our ancestors never heard of herbal tea back in the day when they used to gather for a big long chat around the kitchen table. You wouldn't dream of serving anything other than black tea - good black tea! The only kinds of tea then were: morning tea, stout breakfast tea, afternoon tea, the cup of tea after the dinner, the Tea, (a meal served around six.pm) and the cuppa before bed, 'not too strong, mind you!' and the tea in the good cups you make for visitors. There was of course the tea break, 'elevenses' and other kinds of tea...not to mention the dozens of rules to follow to make proper tea. God help the teamaker who served weak, cold or stewed tea... I think I will brew myself another cup.
