Worst laptop I have owned
I ordered this laptop when it was ยฃ1400 - for this sort of cost, I do not expect the following problems: - A trackpad that does not work for 5 to 10 minutes from opening from sleep or turning completely on. A very common issue reported on Amazon reviews an in the manufacturer forums - Dell refuse to offer a fix and take responsibility for it. - Blue screen crashing when connected to a USB C / Thunderbolt docking station - happens on all brands of docking station - again, despite paying for extended support for 4 years, Dell are like talking to a brick wall and refuse to do anything about it. - Terrible battery life - lucky to get a couple of hours out of it, even when on lowest brightness mode and eco performance mode. - Gets super super hot, uncomfortably so - even when being conscious to keep the vents well clear of any clothing. - Despite both USB C ports on either side being rated for Thunderbolt, the one of the left-hand side results in slow data transfers and lag when connected to a dock like I am using a Hard Disk Drive based machine. Dell support response? Must be to do with the accessories I am using - nothing they can do about it. - Constant crashing of the IR face scanning - sometimes it never works, and other times it is stuck on for hours at a time flashing at my face. Very very disappointed in this laptop and I am looking to get rid, I will never return to the Dell brand after this experience, after years of quality from laptops and monitors.

Amazing laptop
Fantastic build quality, performance and screen. So much better than I was expecting. Coming from a fairly high end gaming laptop my expectations weren't high, but for productivity (which is why I bought it) it's excellent. My only complaint is the track pad, for me it's been a hassle. I think the haptic, pressure sensitive technology is not quite refined enough yet. Overall a premium laptop that is super portable, decent battery life and high performance.

Trackpad issues donโt purchase
Over ยฃ1000 spent to get a laptop which has trackpad issues. Annoyed itโs coming up to Christmas and a laptop is needed. Returned Item the same day

For the first Time ever, Amazon Customer Service has failed
The rating of the item is based on features, of course, when you spend ยฃ1000 on a laptop, you would get good quality. However, I didn't like the laptop as it seemed to be a second-hand one and on return, it takes Amazon, 14 days to process a refund from the date they receive the item. On top of this, it takes close to two weeks for the item return. I tried to raise this with Amazon and their customer service just shot the conversation.

A Huge Disappointment
This came highly recommended and after watching many online video reviews I purchased the top spec model with 32GB Ram, 2TB SSD and touchscreen, primarily for processing photographs in Photoshop and Lightroom when on the go. I have to say I have been totally underwhelmed so far and and now regretting my choice. The Intel Iris XE Graphics card is simply not up to scratch for photography processing and struggles with Lightroom especially. I've sort lots of assistance online to see if I can improve the graphics performance without success and found out the LR problem seems to be a known issue. My other caveat is the keyboard, which is dreadful. Unless you hit the keys dead centre the often don't register and this is particularly prevalent with the left shift key which makes it a real pain. Lastly I regret choosing a touch screen as it seems more of a hindrance than an asset. Think hard whether you really need a touch screen on a laptop. I bought XPS 13 direct from Dell and also bought their recommended bag, don't it's crap and doesn't even fit well.

This really is an amazing laptop save for one very important thing
The screen on this laptop when calibrated properly with high quality material is almost like looking out of a window. The cooling on the machine is very, very good. It can cool the machine at 38w continuously, when configured correctly. It is just 15% percent slower than a typical high end16" Ryzen 7 5800h gaming laptop in the cpu department. Also, it's very resistant to knocks and scrapes. However, the haptic touch pad hurts your hand when you have to click, as you are pressing on an immovable hard surface which isn't sensitive enough, even when configured to be the best it can be. It's such a shame, this could've been one of the most impressive small ultrabooks ever released. If your okay with a mouse, then I considered a wise choice.

It's trash
DO NOT BUY THIS LAPTOP. Track pad: Awful, annoying, constantly gets stuck if the haptic feedback is on and you don't know if you're using the right click or left click Storage: 512gb just isn't enough anymore and for this price point, it's just not worth it As a whole, it's extremely underwhelming and no better than any other laptops with the same features. The different features this one has are all an inconvenience. Just don't bother. I regret buying this laptop every time I open it. Don't make the same mistake myself and others made

Esthetics with performance.
I've been using the laptop for more than two years extensively. I found it incredibly good and handy. Battery time is perhaps the only shortcoming but I'm using it with an extension monitor that keeps it charging as well.
