A Great Sound Bar
I previously tried a (less expensive) Sanyun SW010 sound bar, and it was not very good. It was my first and I wasn't sure what to expect form a sound bar (after having used a good Plantronics headset for years), but it sounded only a little better than a computer speaker. I went back to the Plantronics headset, but my ears were still getting irritated, so I tried this sound bar. Wow, this is exactly what I needed. I listen to YouTube daily, and whether it's music or talking, the quality of this sound bar is incredibly good by my standards. I only use the USB connection, so I can't speak to using Bluetooth. Pros: (1) high quality sound (and bass); (2) USB connection; (3) instructions were clear. Cons: (1) at 16" it's larger than what I wanted; (2) ends are tapered instead of square; you can still stand it on its end, but sound doesn't work well that way, so it needs to rest horizontally. The only issue I had was that when I first pressed the power button on, it didn't power up and I thought something was wrong. I came to discover that I simply didn't press long enough. Seems like it really needed 3-4 seconds to power on rather than the 2 instructions indicated.

Turns off at "high" volume
I can't give this speaker anything higher than 1 star. While it sounds fine and fits perfectly on my desk below my monitor, it has a major flaw that can't be overlooked. Any time I listen to music (or even when playing games or watching Youtube), if it "deems" the music/sound to be too loud, it turns the speaker off. At first I thought I was having a software problem or a problem with my USB cable that is powering it. After doing some research, the only thing I've seen through reading FAQ's and forum posts is that this is a "safety feature" to keep you from damaging your ears. I honestly can't make it loud enough to fill the room with music before it turns off. Unfortunately I'm passed my return window, and I can't see myself buying a Creatives products ever again after this experience. Had I known that this is a "feature" of the speaker, I would have never bought it. Don't waste your money buying this speaker unless you never plan on turn the volume up on, (but what's the point of buying a speaker if you won't turn it up?)

Don't expect hi fidelity, but worth it for the price and footprint. Decent sound at my desk.
First and foremost, I wasn't expecting high fidelity. I wanted a decent sounding sound bar for my macbook that didn't take up much room. I first tried a $40 ONN from Walmart, which was longer. Very disappointing as far as sound. It was so flat with no range at all, no matter the settings. After digging around, I decided on this baby and am not disappointed. For the size, and just listening to music and videos, the sound is very acceptable. At first, I tried to do the power and sound through the same USB-C source. This just simply does not work well out of a macbook, so I used a power adapter for the USB-C and connected via bluetooth. This is the sweet spot. Another plus is that it fits right under my monitor, out of the way of the other clutter on my desk. Worth the money.

Good sound for the price.
I use this sound bar as my computer speakers and sometimes hooking my phone up via Bluetooth. It sounds ok a little muffled on the highs when watching YouTube or steaming tv. Music wise it sounds way better. Battery life is ok get about 2-3 on almost max volume but I never have it unplugged that often. It's a little annoying when batteries low. Instead of a simple beep or something it says "battery low" about every 6 minutes. I was a little upset that I couldn't charge the sound bar using my monitor USB but being next my computer I had plenty of USB options. I think I paid $35 for this on sale and am really happy with the what you get for the price.

Excellent Sound in a Compact, Portable Speaker!
I bought the Creative Stage Air V2 2.0 Portable Bluetooth Sound Bar Speaker a few weeks ago, and I’m extremely satisfied with it! The sound quality is excellent — clear, rich, and powerful for such a compact size. Bluetooth pairing was super easy and stable, and the battery life is impressive, lasting through long listening sessions without any issues. It’s lightweight and portable, making it perfect for both my desk and when I want to take music on the go. The build quality also feels solid and premium. Overall, this sound bar delivers way more than I expected for the price. Highly recommend it!

Won't last and will have connection issues no matter plugged into device or via bluetooth
Speaker sounds good enough for a desktop/computer sound bar but as everyone is saying, it eventually starts disconnecting and yelling, nonstop "bluetooth connect, bluetooth disconnected" and this happens even when I plugged in and not using bluetooth. It will try to force a bluetooth connection rather than recognizing it's wired to my comp. Very annoying and jarring to wake up to, encounter while on zoom in a meeting, and any other inconvenient time, it seems. It did not have all of these negative reviews when purchased and I hate that I'm out of the refund window.

It sounds very good 😀 ...when it works 😣
I bought one back in October, 2022 and it sounded great! I used it mainly connected to my laptop computer for videos and for video games. As time went by, I noticed two qualities deteriorating: 1. I had to increase the volume more and more to get similar levels when it was new. When new, a volume of 20 or 30/100 was loud enough, after a couple of years I had to crank it up to 50 or 60/100 to get similar volume. 2. If I used bluetooth, it would not last as long as when new. I suspected it was a battery issue, so I decided to try to replace the battery myself...and ended up bending & breaking the plastic speaker. Unfortunately, they made it unbelievably difficult to remove the side lid to replace the battery. When the speaker worked, it really sounded good for the cost and the size, I was truly impressed! I think Creative missed out on a potential revenue source by not making this speaker more user-friendly by making the battery easier to replace, and ultimately missed revenue from battery replacement sales. Would I buy again? Most likely no. I am looking at other soundbars that have a higher rating than this Creative speaker.

Died at 3 years. Battery inside fails and once that happens the device is dead.
I have owned this speaker for 3 years. Worked great. I only had it attached to my computer and never used it portable. So the internal battery is not used. But then in the last 6 months issues started happening. The speaker would suddenly turn itself off. I would turn it back on and then a few minutes later it would turn off again. Eventually, it got to the point where it wouldn't stay on 10 seconds. I didn't understand the problem until I did some googling and found this is a very common problem. Turns out the 18650 battery dies inside... OK, so I don't need a battery... I'm always plugged in. But Creative Labs made the choice to NOT let you use the speaker with a dead battery and it turns itself off. The battery inside is not replaceable. It is a standard 18650, but buried so deep into the glued plastics and speaker grill there is no hope to replace it. So why did this happen? Creative did not put a proper battery management system in this device. So many possible solutions: - Put a setting for "Desk mode" this could have kept the battery at 80% and would last decades in this state. - Have a proper Battery Management System that could notice that the battery is continuously charging and disable charging. I'm sure there more. Turns out Creative makes a similar version of the speaker with no battery. I wish I had purchased that one. A device that lasts only 3 years is terrible and Creative should be ashamed. I recommend not purchasing this product, especially if you don't care about the ability to play portable.

Excelente.

Wow!
I bought this to replace the Creative 4.1 set connected to my computer in the den. I wanted the convenience of pairing my phone with it the times I want a little background music when doing non-computer stuff, and honestly, I really do not need surround sound there and would like to reclaim the space it occupies. When it arrived, I connected it to the computer in my bedroom to test it out. They blow my older Creative 2.0 speakers I have in this room out of the water. Clear, crisp sound and a powerful bass in such a relatively small package. I was listening to one particularly loud song but I could still make out the delicate "tink" of the high hat. Welp, I just ordered two more, once more for the den because this one is not leaving my bedroom, and another for my Chromebook in the living room. Creative, there is a reason why I continue buying your products going on three decades now!

DO NOT BUY THIS PIECE OF CRAP. It will only last about a year.
UPDATE: After about a year the battery was toast. Now I have to drop my review from 5 stars to 2. My faith in Creative has been greatly diminished. My advice is to spend a little more on a better brand. UPDATED UPDATE: The unit no longer powers on. I have dropped my 2 star review to 1. The only reason you get one star is that Amazon will not allow me to rate you at zero stars. Creative, if you are reading this. Please do better, I have been faithful to your brand since the Soundblaster 16 and I even bought the ZENvision, and this is way bigger let down. This soundbar is pure garbage, and Creative is a brand that can no longer be trusted.
