These magnifying glasses were exactly what I needed. I love working on cross stitch and embroidery, but with 50-something very nearsighted eyes, my strong eyeglasses prescription (-10.0) makes things so small that the progressive lenses aren’t enough for doing needlework. I was wearing drugstore readers on top of my glasses, plus a lighted magnifier that hung awkwardly around my neck, and still found myself looking around them all to use my near vision. The Vision Aid magnifying glasses are perfect. I can wear them with my prescription glasses. I used both the ear pieces and the headband, both work fine. I opted for the headband since the earpieces pulled my hair a little when I took them off. The nose piece is adjustable and there are extra pads included. The angle of the light and lenses are adjustable. No neck strain, the magnification was right where I needed it. The light could be a little brighter, but it was fine for my needs. The lenses are clear, no distortion. I used the second of five strengths for cross stitch. They would be helpful for taking out splinters or hunting head lice as well. I’m thankful for the case to keep everything together and protect the lenses. After wearing them for over 3 hours, there was a little pressure on my temples, but they were comfortable for a long stretch. These are going to be fantastically useful.

These magnifiers are great! I use them for drawing and painting very small details… they’ve really helped me improve, especially features on the teeniest of faces… both people and creatures. There’s a nice selection of clear magnifications. Very useful for a variety of projects… not just art. I’ve had my set for over a year and am just now having to recharge the lights. The lights are small but bright enough to be helpful. I mostly use my art lamps but the extra lighting for tiny detail work is nice. Lenses are sturdy, no nicks or scratches. Frames are well made and also sturdy, no breakage and screws haven’t come loose. The case is useful for carrying with me… still looks new. It’s sturdy, keeps everything together so nothing gets lost and everything remains protected. I’m very pleased with my purchase and highly recommend this brand. The delivery was quick without any issues.

Very comfortable and can be worn with glasses. Love the different lens that clip into place. I'm a modeler building models for the CAF museum and detail is very important to me. These help a lot to see small details and can be worn for long periods of time. The led light has 2 settings, I use the elastic strap since I wear glasses. Very happy with this setup.

After trying several other magnifying headlamps, I bought the Vision Aid. It is more expensive that similar models and worth its higher price. My wife liked mine so well that she bought one, and we may buy a third one. The lenses come in a hard plastic box with the magnifications for each slot plainly marked. The lenses also have well-defined numbers. The others I tried had flimsy lens boxes and the lenses had barely decipherable labels, and no markings on the box. The ear pieces are easily removable if you want to use the headband. The ones from two other types I tried were not. The nose bridge is adjustable and reasonably comfortable. The accessory kit has two nose pads and two rubber covers, and a pack of 10 pairs of pads is available on-lin. The carrying case is very handy, and not included with the other units I tried. The dual brightness light is very effective and runs many hours on a charge. Recharge time is relatively short. My one complaint is that the lenses can be removed too easily. I have had to go on more than one lens hunt when one was bumped loose. This seems to be a common issue with this type of unit, and it is not an issue most of the time. Love these! They fit perfectly and comfortable. Really helpful with doing my paint by number pictures. I used them as well for hanging a new zebra blind to see close up with the light on. Very durable and love that you can recharge the battery. The battery last long enough for me to paint for quite awhile. I love that it has a variety of magnifying plastic lens that are think and sturdy. The like that there is two brightnesses for the light. I recommend these for the value for your money.

Good battery life, plenty of magnification, lightweight, fits securely on my head even without the strap. Can be used over my regular glasses. Both light and lens rotate vertically. All cool. But the (literally) downfall for this product is that the lenses don't attach securely to the glasses, and fall off frequently. If you're standing over a hard surface at the time, like I just did, the detached lens breaks at the attachment point, rendering it unusable. So although you don't necessarily need the range of magnification in five lenses, having several spares is a good thing. As with many such products, variable lighting is just a silly feature. I simply want on/off for the brightest, whitest light. Finally, micro-USB sucks. It should be USB-C.

Works great for my mother who has AMD. She can continue to knit and crochet with it. She loves it.

Purchased this for working on cross stitch projects with 18 stitches to the inch - seriously tiny, made more difficult by inadequate lighting in my favorite stitching chair. I wear glasses, so I use the headband rather than the over the ear legs. As others have mentioned, the nose piece can be uncomfortable and because I have to position the gadget so it perches further down my nose then my glasses, it can be a bit awkward. However, when I’ve got it properly situated, I can stitch at a normal position where without the gadget, the only way to see the tiny stitches was to remove my glasses and hold the whole project up very close to my nearsighted eyes. Of late, I’m learning how to do my own gel manicures at home. One big issue I’ve had was taking the gel right up to the very edges of nail margins and the cuticle, without getting too much stuff to ooze out and touch living skin. To clearly see this very fine line between nail and skin, like my needlework I removed my glasses and held the finger being worked on, right up to my face. I decided to try using this gadget for manicures and wow! It really helps me to not flood the cuticles and keep gel off my skin, because I can more easily see the fine details clearly. The rechargeable battery does indeed work for several hours at a time before needing a recharge. You might need to tinker with fit adjustments, but you will find what works best for you. Highly recommended - wish I had purchased these years ago!

Já a testei e constatei que preciso usar meus óculos com as três primeiras lentes, mas nas duas últimas (a quarta e a quinta lentes), não há necessidade de óculos. A superb vision aid that, whilst only received yesterday, is already exceeding my expectations after 4 hours of use. I purchased these for use whilst model making and they are proving to be spot-on for my requirements when working with fine detail. Some real thought has gone into the design of this magnifier and it shows. Both the lenses themselves and the headpiece extension to which they are attached can each be individually adjusted to achieve the perfect viewing angle - and that is a real bonus! The lenses themselves are crystal clear and I can comfortably wear my normal reading glasses whilst using the magnifier, but have found that I don't even need my glasses as the lenses alone provide perfect magnification. The LED light is also adjustable for angle and it's not a gimmick either as once you have adjusted both it and the lenses to your desired position, everything is in focus, magnified and well illuminated. The on-off button for the LED is large and well sited on the top of the unit making it quick and easy to find without having to remove the headset - another well thought out detail. Charging the LED with the supplied USB cable was very swift from new, and after 4 hours of use has not required charging again. The headset is a good snug fit and doesn't drop down when bending over. It's also light and comfortable to wear. The arms of the headset that hook over your ears like normal glasses can be removed and substituted for the supplied elasticated headband if you prefer - but I haven't tried that yet as I haven't felt the need to. The hard shell carry-case is excellent, and there is a separate box inside which securely holds the 5 lenses of different magnification, plus a lens cleaning cloth! I have tried many different ways of improving the magnification and illumination of my workspace, and nothing has come close to the effectiveness of this highly versatile and well-built unit. Time and extensive use might throw up some flaws, but unless the unit falls apart I can't imagine what they might be. Overall an excellent buy!
