Does this work like other switches where I use one of the ports to connect to my router?

Yes. It is a 2.5G Ethernet Switch (supporting speeds of 2.5G, 1G, and 100M). It just also supports PoE++ (60W) Power Devices (PD's) which are both powered and connected to the network via a single Ethernet cable.

Which port is the uplink port?

Any port is an uplink port. Its a switch so all ports are the same. I would use one of the PoE+ ports if you need the uPoE mostly.
