Great little toolkit for shooting range
Seems like this was designed as the perfect kit for taking to the shooting range. Sort of a mini little gunsmithing tool set. It has the hex (metric and imperial) and torx bits and flat bits of the sizes you would need mounting/adjusting scopes and tightening screws. Everything seems well made and a great kit for the money. I just got it for the torque driver to torque scope rings and was happily surprised by what it included.

Great torq screw driver, recomended.
It works perfectly. The construction is solid, and the finish is well done. When compared with another 1/4-inch drive torque wrench (angle ratchet), the accuracy is precise. Both the Vanpo torque meter and the Snap-on torque wrench produce very similar readings.

VANPO Torque screwdriver set, Poor instructions, battery cover poorly designed
This review is for the two-wrench combo kit, consisting of a long (14.7 - 295 ft-lb) and a short (3.1 to 62.7 ft-lb). They both have a 1/2" drive chuck. This kit comes with a very nice big case that houses both wrenches in the same case. The long piece is calibrated at three points: 59, 178, and 296 ft-lbs. The short piece is calibrated at three points: 13, 38, and 63 ft-lbs. It's quite easy to use. I like that it has a backlight feature. The backlight button also functions as a key-lock button to prevent inadvertently changing the settings. The instructions are woefully inadequate, and in at least one place, the instructions are outright wrong. There are eight torque preset memory registers, but the instructions do not explain how to store new torque presets into the eight memory registers. After much experimentation, I finally figured out how this thing works. It works like this: As soon as the unit is turned on, it operates under one of the eight preset registers that was previously selected. However, the display does not show which one of the eight preset registers it operates under. Any time the torque value is changed by the up and down arrow buttons, that torque setting will be automatically stored as the new preset value for the currently selected preset register the unit is operating under. To access other preset values, press the U button for one second to enter "Mode." Then use either the up or down button to choose the "Set" mode. Then hit the U button again to enter the preset recall mode. Then use the up or down button to recall any one of the 8 preset registers. Then hit the U button again to recall the value of the selected register. This action simultaneously exits "Mode." At this stage, the torque wrench operates under that selected preset register. For example, let's say I want to use the torque value in preset register P2 and performed the previous steps to recall P2 from memory. Let's say the preset value for P2 is 76 ft-lbs. After the value of P2 is recalled, the wrench will display 76 ft-lbs. The wrench now operates under the P2 preset. Changing the torque value with the up or down button now will change the torque value of the P2 preset, and that new torque value will be automatically stored in the P2 preset register as the new P2 preset value. If you don't want to mess up the stored P2 value, do not touch the Up or Down buttons. The wrench has a data mode to display the most recent peak torque readings. Up to 500 data points are stored, I believe. To recall the peak torque readings, enter into Mode. Then use the up or down button to select the "Dat" data mode. Then hit the U button to enter into the Data mode. Then use the up or button to recall and display the data points. The wrench has a Track mode and a Peak mode. To change from Peak to Track or vice versa, press the U button for 1 second to enter into Mode. Then press the U button again to enter into the Peak/Track change mode. Use either the up button or the down button to toggle between Track mode and Peak mode. Then hit the U button to store the selected Peak or Track option. The Track mode displays the instantaneous torque reading and resets the display back to zero automatically as soon as the applied torque is removed. Whereas in the Peak mode, it will continue to display the peak torque achieved even after the torque is removed. To clear the peak torque, press the C button. I have not found the Track mode useful since the Peak mode is what I use a torque wrench for to see what peak torque was applied to a bolt. What I don't like: The forward/reverse selection ring is almost flat and provides no place to grip it. It's hard to grip that friction ring to change the forward and reverse direction. A toggle lever would have been so much easier to use than a friction ring. The battery compartment cover for the large wrench is poorly designed, and is exceedingly difficult to align it properly to close. The battery cover for the large wrench will crack and cease to operate if the end is ever dropped on the ground, rendering the tool useless.

Press(U) to select unit of measure. Press up and down arrows to select measurement. Press (M) hold it to lock in number. Turn screwdriver till red led comes on and steady beep. you're done. if you want to keep this measurement leave it. or to unlock it to change measurement press and hold(M) again.

Economical, well priced, firearm torque wrench set for amateurs and above
Hello to those seeking a convenient and economical tool to properly torque scope based on your go-to firearm. I purchased this product to essentially seat all my scopes in which they needed it badly, that I came to this particular set. Moreover, there are other brands and similar sets out there, but I chose this particular one to accommodate all hex-bits spectrum as all my scope bases are just those. This product is as advertised and came with all accessories as described which is very nice in the event of needed torque requirements on anything else outside of my firearms. I can go through all the extras- but do take an extensive look at this item and what it comes with to suit your particular needs. I have included new/opened at destination look at this product. I have been owning/hunting firearms all my life and will definitely recommend this tool as a go-to insurance policy concerning torquing properly. My particular application with this purchase was with Luipold base& rings wrapping a 3x9x40 Nikon scope while outfitting a Browning A-bold Medallion 30-06.
