Valterra T1005 3" Slip Hub Flange , Black

THis was a perfect replacment for the flange that came with my valterra valve I just bought. Unfortunately I cemented the connections together before install and so I had to get a new flange since I did it slightly wrong. Not cheap but cheaper than a whole new valve assembly!

It fit perfectly and fixed the problem on the black tank drain on our RV

The picture does not match the product. If you are looking for the replacement piece where the gray tank pipes connect to the valve. THIS IS IT!

I used this to reinforce a hole in the drywall ceiling of my garage. It worked great as a port to pass through an air compressor hose and will keep the hose from eventually enlarging the hole when the hose flexes. It was not the intended purpose of the fitting but it worked great.

This worked for us. It's basically a female fitting. Your pipe fits INTO this mounting flange. I just wish the holes at the corners for your mounting bolts had been slotted. They didn't line up perfectly with my existing ones. Took a little fanagaling, but finally got it bolted up

This is a Valterra T1005-1 part as described on Amazon, the correct picture is on Valterra’s website but the picture on Amazon’s site is incorrect. Do not expect the longer tube shown on Amazon’s picture.

It is what it says it is but only one picture??? Who does that anymore? It needs the photo of the internal and mounting sides of the device to make it useful to us uneducated people before we buy. Not everyone is an RV technician and knows what this part is by its name. I had to return it. The company was great but I wasted time.

This is a product specific item that has to be used with a Valterra valve assembly. On most RV black tank and grey tank drain assemblies, there are usually just two manufacturers of waste gate valves, Valterra and Bristol. Although they are very close dimensionally, they are not interchangeable. They will bolt up but not seal correctly so if you have a Valterra valve assembly you need to get the Valterra Slip Flange. This flange is very heavy duty and needs to be strong since the drain valve assemblies normally hang out from underneath the RV and get bounced around while the RV is in motion.

Well made, just didn't fit what I wanted to do. That was my fault not the manufacturers.

WORKS AS IT SHOULD

They are all the same size, adapts to standard 1.5” pipe. I had to grind off old bolt which wrecked the old one. Exactly what I need to complet valve replacement. What I learned through all of this is I would have been better off buying grey black water combo and adapting piping to both. Less hassle because the seals were gone in both. Lesson learned.

just had to cut the flange off so they fit flush to the bottom of the desk... easy to make and inexpensive.

The original hub on the drain on my Roadtrek cracked around the mounting bolts and was permitting a leak. This replacement hub fit as designed. The difficulty is that with a fixed system, there is no flexibility and required adjustments upstream to make it fit.
