Classic Jimi Hendrix/Robin Trower univibe sound
Not 100% authentic but it’s still pretty great. It’s very solidly built and you’re not going to find a better price for this effect. Currently playing guitar in a rock musical in Chicago and the music director asked if I could get a “Jimi Hendrix” sound for one song. I found this online and took a chance based on the price. Super happy that I did. The MD was grinning ear to ear when he heard it. Great purchase!

VIBE Owners Be Patient - It Gets Better
I have had the Vibe a couple weeks - but that first day I wasn't digging it - sounded like a crappy chorus or something - but I believe it needed to be broken in, what started off feeling very much a one trick pony has become a pedal I go to more and more, half the time I just leave it running because it responds so playing with other pedals in front of it (always a compressor, often a Crybaby wah and/or a Proco Rat) - depending on what I'm putting into it it will sound remarkably like a Univibe - subtle (or not so) phasing, vibrato, chorus and a little tremolo and flange sometimes, this pedal just grows and grows, one of my favorite purchases for getting bang for buck tone.

Don't let the low price fool you
Like a lot of guitarists buying pedals from Amazon, I've been making my way through all price ranges lately. Admittedly, the sparse minimalist graphics caught my eye when I was recently looking for a reverb pedal. So I gave it a shot. And it's a winner! Who would've thought quality could be so affordable? Now, there is one caveat: This is a one-trick pony, and if you know what you're looking for this could be it. In my case, my amp doesn't have a reverb tank so I wanted something to add some "space" (get it?) to my sound and wouldn't leave it so dry sounding. Just something to fill in the void. Kokko's "Space" reverb pedal does that, and nothing more. It doesn't necessarily have that much of a character, but it does keep up to a certain extent with the Electro Harmonix Neo Holy Grail's plate setting when I recently A/B'd them. But it doesn't go as fully wet at the EHX does. Nevertheless, it's a great buy. So yeah, it's not a room, hall, or spring and there is no modulation ... so if anything it's a plate. But it's a decent price and if all you need is something to fill out your sound, this can do that. You won't exactly be playing ambient music with super long trails with it, but ... there's plenty of other options for that. If you're a minimalist player, this is a great minimalist pedal.

Easily hangs with the big boys
Been playing for 25+ years, and have gone through many pedals. May just be me, but the pedal game has definitely evolved through the years. Is this an authentic univibe with a pedal?...no. Is it a Leslie rotary?...no. But it will really surprise you with the quality tone and effect it gives and allows you to keep. It’s got a sturdy build to it, and the controls give you a decent amount of variation for whatever level you need or are looking for. If I had to give any negatives about it, then *maybe* the button doesn’t click loud like most pedals... but that’s trivial. I have it sitting behind my #2 drive pedal (on either side of my delay). For the price, you won’t find a better sounding pedal. And if you disagree, then you must be one of “those guys”. Well worth the $25ish.

It's a good deal for the price
This pedal is a good phase shifter, but not exactly what I was looking for. The vibe sound lacks that true univibe quality. But the structural and overall look of the pedal is very good. And if you are looking for a great priced phase shifter effect then it's worth the investment.

Try it *before* your gain effects
It looks and feels well-constructed, and I like how the switch engages without me having to press super hard. When I first plugged it in after my gain pedals, I didn’t like how it altered the tone. The highs got really fizzy and crinkly; thin without definition. It didn’t sound much like the YouTube demos I’d watched, and I figured it just maybe didn’t “play well” with my other effects. I was just about to box it up to return it, when I decided to try putting it before my gains, and I’m thankful I did! It sounds great there! I’ve only played it for about an hour so far, but I’m really impressed. It’s warm, and to my ear it’s similar to a tremolo effect. The “level” knob seems to add some gain (or at least volume), and the other knobs are really useful for dialing in a substantial variety of sounds. So make sure to try it before any gain effects!

Sounds mushy.
The lows are not low and the highs are not high. I spent several hours trying to get a sound out of this pedal I liked. Finally I got some solid lows and some sparkling high frequencies I really liked. “Oh, wait a second, the pedal is turned off.”

Sounds great!
Sounds surprisingly great! Build seems good, small footprint and low price are awesome. I am sure there are better vibe pedals at 10x more the price, but this is musical sounding and ready to add this sound to your crowded pedal board.
