Amazing, only one flaw
First the bad, the right thumb stick makes a very annoying spring noise when used, imagine the noise an old spring mattress would make. That can probably be remedied easily with lubing, replacing the spring, or putting on headphones, but I won't take a star off for that, it's just pretty annoying. This is the perfect controller to solve claw grip, for me right now in Elden Ring, or in most games that force you to take your thumb off the thumb stick to press a button in order to run. I like to run while keeping control of the camera (which is right thumb stick). The setup for remapping the run button (ie: B) to the back right paddle was very easy on this controller, huge plus there. Besides that, it's wired, (it can be wireless? I don't know and don't care) and yes I know what year we're in, 2022, but it really cuts out having to deal with any kind of input lag issues and recharging. The material feels great, but gets smudged easily, so keep that in mind. Great price for everything you get, will probably pick up a second.

Sturdy and easily servicable
Very good products. Still works after 3,5 years. It started drifting, but I disassembled it, blew thru it, cleaned it up, assembled, and it is like new. Very sturdy and good build quality too. I am very happy with this product.

Updated as it broke... Computer gaming bumped up...
I finally really started using the controller lately, mainly Rocket League. I mapped boost to RB and within 40hrs of use, I noticed the RB making a strange noise, and then a few hrs later, it stopped working. I took the controller apart and the LB and RB mechanisms are flismy and likely break a lot. Part of the plastic snapped somehow (I didn't drop it) and there was no way to fix it. The warranty was very easy and I'm waiting on a replacement (may take a week or two), so I still recommend the controller for the price. I might look at the Turtle Beach alternative or an office Xbox controller next time, but the 2 year warranty really is nice to have on something like a controller I'm a PC gamer currently, but in the past I have enjoyed Playstation consoles since they were invented. I went to PC for performance increases as well as the availability of tons of games. I haven't used a controller in a few years now and I have to say that it is more enjoyable playing EVERY game EXCEPT fps with a controller. Some games really are only enjoyable with a controller. They all seem to be optimized for a controller and you also get the vibration. It's also more comfortable long term than a keyboard and mouse. I play a lot of Tarkov, so that is always going to be keyboard and mouse, and it seems like it is currently the only game of 50+ that I'm using the keyboard for still. As for the actual controller, I got the red one. The gold D-pad looks slick. Quality seems fine, seems like a solid plastic controller. The topside is a matte finish and the bottom side is a criss-cross pattern that feels nice in the hand. I hesitated for a longtime to get a controller and I'm not sure why. I paid $32+tax.

Super awesome controller for PC!
I bought this controller after researching some of the most popular ones online. I wanted something wired and something that would work easily with my PC for all my games that would be better with a controller, and then I found this gem! It's perfect! It doesn't feel too bulky or strenuous on my small hands and it was completely plug and play, no setup whatsoever. I've had it for a day and tested it out for a good 8hrs, perfect. Good response on the analog sticks with a wide range of maneuverability and buttons feel nice. Nice grip, soft but grippy and cool buttons on the back, haven't tested the triggers too much yet, but they feel good. It also comes with a ten foot removable usb cord, perfect for sitting on the couch or at your desk, not too long, not too short. Only downside I've seen is it gets dirty fast, but it doesn't bother me. (PS it doesn't light up, it's just the reflection of my keyboard lights)

Questionable Quality | 2nd Re: [Update: 7/25/2023] | 3rd Re:[Update 2: 8/25/2023]
[Update 3: 8/25/2023] I've demoted my rating to one star because of PowerA Customer Service. It's been two weeks and two ticket submissions requesting for a replacement . I have not heard back from them as of writing this third review. I don't understand what's going on with them. I seldom to think I'm in some sort of blacklist from the last time I used their service. They were quite courteous — last year ago. [Update 2: 7/25/2023] Third controller of this type. The X-Button is getting stuck at times. Getting random ghost inputs between the L and R-Stick. It's well past the time I can return this via amazon. I-. I don't understand how the quality keeps falling off one much worse than the last. I'm not even using it aggressively than a game would demand of me. [Update - 5/1/2022] - (A previous controller) Now the Left Trigger is busted or something. It doesn't 'click' right, resulting in no physical inputs. A bit of a reminder that I have yet to use it aggressively. I suppose I'll start with the good things about the controller. I've appreciated the mappable undergrip buttons that alleviated plenty of stressful situations for my gaming. That much is certain. However, I worry for the quality of each individual controller of PowerA. I've owned a few, but not as much as I have returned them. I can't remember older ones, but I do recall a purchase back in 2021 held up well, until the left stick had some absolute left drift in five months, in addition to jitters in corners. The most recent one back in December appeared okay, despite slight damage to the product case. But that one wouldn't last not even be three days until I had noticed the same problems. This would lead to a replacement. Now mid-December, the replacement product came with a really bad dent on the left top of the case, but the controller appeared undamaged. It's performance seemed well until early January, where the same problems persisted, but with even worse corner jitters, in addition to the left stick having stop-gap inputs when turning left. Conclusion: I wasn't even aware I could refund the return. And though I would have liked to replace the return, the prior option could only be made. I'm honestly a little too doubtful to want to try my 'luck' and see if I draw a controller from this current version that does last, if not only to have an actually solid stick. I wouldn't particularly recommend this controller, as the other qualities such as the undergrip buttons, may or may not ascertain an acceptable equilibrium of the problems I've had.

Works better than the official Xbox controller out of the box
I can't speak to the durability of this controller, but that's a low bar to clear. I've bought five of the official wireless controllers since I got my Xbox One. One of them still works, and one is completely broken. The remaining three no longer work unless physically plugged in, and two of those have the stick travel issue. None have any outward signs of damage. Having resigned myself to the fact that wireless official controllers are a ripoff that I'll end up having to use wired anyway, I figured I might as well get a wired one. I bought this one fully expecting to return it because of the ridiculously bad deadzones, and inaccurate d-pads that plague nearly every 3rd party controller I've tried. I was pleasantly surprised when I tried it. At first I thought it simply didn't work, until I realized you really have to shove that cable deep into the USB port. The opening on the controller is shaped to fit the end of the included cable, and it hard to get in there. Once it's in, it grips like a vice, and unlike the official controller, there is no way normal movements will shake it loose. So I fired up the Xbox, and loaded the whatever game was in the tray, which happened to be Call of Duty: WWII. I fully expected my character to spin in circles every time I breathed on the analog stick, or any number of other horrid defects you usually get with 3rd party controllers, but it worked flawlessly. Possibly even slightly better than the official controllers. As I said before, I have no idea how durable this thing is, but if I can even get six months out of it, it would surpass the original controller in every regard.

Great controller, scam price
HONEST REVIEW: Best controller ive ever used, but the durability goes down every time i buy one. I have been through 4 now and the last one lasted me about 3 months before unfixable stick drift. The first one lasted me 2 years. Didnt used to matter when it was $30, i didnt mind buying a new one because the conteoller was that good. But $60 for a wired controller? Come on.... I dont know what happened in Power A but this exact controller is almost impossible to find now. It is the best controller Power A ever made and i hate that they're charging double its actual value. It is(or was) a $30 controller, with the 2 back buttons and the audio button in the front bottom center that was great for if u had a headset plugged in. And the style and colors are wayyy better than anything else they or anyone has on the market. I dont know what happened but if Power A discontinued these they are fools.

perfeito!

Great alternative for the elite controller.
I bought the controller since my previous pdp controller broke, only got it since it had the paddles on the back. I really like it, it's a mix of the pdp deluxe controller I had and the original xbox controller. Feels nice and strong, built with high quality materials and it has a nice long cable which helps a lot. What I dislike is the light for the mute button, you learn to live with it but id prefer it without it. I'd 100% recommend this controller, better than the original xbox controller and much cheaper than the elite series of xbox controllers. A fair middle ground.

Excellent Gaming Controller at an Affordable Price!
One of the standout features of this controller is its impressive build quality. The controller feels solid and well-constructed, giving it a premium and durable feel. Despite its sturdy construction, it remains lightweight, allowing for comfortable gaming sessions without strain or fatigue. The 3-meter cable is a great addition, providing ample length for flexible gameplay. I appreciate the freedom it offers, as it eliminates the need to stay close to the console or worry about battery life. Speaking of responsiveness, the PowerA Enhanced Wired Gaming Controller delivers excellent performance. The buttons are highly responsive, providing quick and accurate inputs. The analog sticks are smooth and precise, allowing for seamless control and movement in games. The overall gameplay experience feels natural and immersive. The only downside I've encountered with this controller is the matte powder texture, which tends to stain easily from sweat or extended hours of use. While this may be a minor inconvenience, it does not affect the controller's functionality or performance in any way. Considering the price point, the PowerA Enhanced Wired Gaming Controller is a fantastic alternative to the overpriced original Xbox Series X controller. It offers comparable performance and functionality at a significantly lower cost. If you're looking for a reliable and affordable gaming controller that delivers an amazing gaming experience, I highly recommend giving this controller a try.
