If you have a newer phone these are wonderful. Works perfectly for charging and wearing wired earbuds. Is flexible without kinking. Fits firmly in the usb-c port, without pulling out too easily.

UPDATE April 21, 2026 This device no longer works, it did, but now I can't get the ipad to recognize it. I have an ipad air Gen 4 - I really hated the lack of an earbud plug...but this adapter works perfectly. I can listen to programs and charge at the same time. It's great when I don't want to bother the people around me with audio. Plus I don't have to worry about running out of juice. Highly recommended.

My new phone doesn't have an AUX jack and my car doesn't have BLUETOOTH. So what's a guy supposed to do? MacGyver it! I connect this to my charger, and then connect my phone to this with my AUX cable, and voila, I can now play tunes on my car speakers AND charge my phone at the same time in my car! If you read a lot of reviews for similar products, many of them say either the item plays music ok, or it charges ok, but it doesn't do both or do both well. This one does! The audio quality on this is as good as if I was using my AUX directly to my phone. And it does charge FAST even while playing audio. The ONLY thing to be aware of is, if you are charging your phone and have it connected to audio, but aren't playing any audio, but the radio is on, you will hear a static-y noise. If you simply turn off the radio (since you're not playing any audio anyway), the noise goes away. So literally the only time you'll hear this is if you have the radio on and phone connected but aren't listening to anything. Other than that, this product is perfect. And even with that small issue, just turn off the radio or use your phone to play music, and the problem is solved.

This works well for my car. I would give it five stars except that only a few weeks after purchasing it, I’ve had my audio stop working randomly a few times. Eventually it will start working again. I haven’t had any issues with it for a few days now and hopefully it will stay that way. The charger works great though, no issues with that.

Worked great until it didn't. For about 8 months, this product worked flawlessly. Good sound and the charging works. Then I took the adapter on a trip and I rolled it to fit in a circular headphone case. Since then, it stopped working properly. Now, trying different headphones, the sound sometimes works and sometimes stops. There's static. And now, the sound moves up and down and podcasts keep restarting on their own. It's probably my user error in bending it that broke it. But buyer beware to take care of it.

Neither the charge port nor the 3.5mm audio works either separately or together. Power cycled S24 to be sure as best I could that phone was "clear" of anything that could be interfering. Did not change anything. Tried multiple usb-c cables, flipped cables, no change. Tested on my old Samsung Note 9 and the charge port worked fine, just not on the S24 Ultra which is where I need it. Returning to look at other options.

Works great with my newer iPhone and older 3.5mm cable headphones. Audio was clear and it also charged as expected. Braided cord feels sturdy.

Got it for my partner as he likes to watch stuff on his phone to fall asleep, but also needs to keep it charged. It works great and he hasn’t had any issues.

You can't fault the brain trust behind USB-C's design decision to not include a snug-fit locking mechanism so this does unseat from time-to-time (especially when both headphones and a charging cable are attached but that's not the fault of this adapter. It works as advertised and as expected.

Doesn't cut out for a half second on quiet parts on podcasts like other ones I have tried. Win!!

Got these cuz I miss headphone jacks. Connector was slightly bigger than stock charger so butted up against my case's charger hole. Slight mod to make it fit; just be weary this is a slightly bigger connector

Connection is good and don't have to worry about it randomly unplugging.
