Dandelion Dog Ear Posting Kit, Dog Ear Stand Up Support, Dog Ear Stand Up Tool with Tape for Doberman Pinscher Dogs

I bought this for my dog. It wasn't on a week and some how, it cut my dog's ears. Now I have to take her to the vet because her ears are now infected. She keeps shaking her head and scratching, so now her ears are splitting into. Would not recommend

So, this works great as a frame, horrible as a post. The plastic is thin, the ear pieces come apart easy and there really isn't a way to keep the thing together without a lot of tape. However, if you post the dogs ears with backer rod and tape and then use this to hold in position it is a good brace. My pup has had it on for about 24 hours, and I've had to re-do it once already. Hoping I fixed some kinks with this round. Design issues: It's 3 pieces that slide together and with enough of an ear shake slide right apart again. Thin plastic, it's a matter of WHEN it snaps. I will probably print my own with a thicker plastic. The supplies they give you to use this as a posting tool are supplies that, at least my vet, said were a no go. The stretchy wrap can get too tight and cause damage to the ear. Non-flexible tape is appropriate. I don't even know what the cotton balls are for..... There is no way the device would work according to the directions for use. The hook for he ears is too thin (ears are thick at the base), and they are in an odd spot for placement. The device wouldn't be able to sit flush with the pups head if you follow the directions. Again, great as a frame or brace to keep the ears from flopping (especially on a great dane show crop, very long), but even at that will likely only last a couple of postings before breaking or not being worth the fight.

Fist it’s about the fifth thing I bought on Amazon for this purpose, I’m sure the picture showing the dog is fake. We returned as it is garbage Try to get it to stay on dog without fifty feet of tape!

It seemed like a good idea when I ordered them, but I ended up returning them. I could not get them to stay in place and the Doberman puppy had it off within 10 minutes. I went back to the 'old school' method of using tampon tubes, which has always worked for me.

This is my first Doberman and I’ve been trying to figure out how to make his ears stand. I have 0 luck. Tried this kit and it’s terrible. Hard to use, when I finally got it on. He shook his head and they came right off. I’m so over it.

Super easy to use for postings, if you can get the puppies to cooperate 😂
