What is the torque setting for just this cap? 54 nm seems like it's for the bb not this tiny piece. please help.

54 Nm is definitely for the BB bolt. I haven't found a torque spec for this anywhere. Since it doesn't serve any structural or connecting purpose, maybe there isn't one. It does like to come loose though. I'd suggest some threadlock on it.

Perfect. Shame the SRAM original fell off. Installed replacement with Loctite and fingers crossed it stays in place. UPDATE. Still perfect after first ride.
