Plant-based Protein Powder
I have been using this product for over a year now, and I like it. However there have been recent (January 2025) reports that many protein supplement powders, especially plant -based, have high levels of the heavy metals lead and cadmium. I hope this is not one of them, but I don't know how to find out. There is no mention of testing for these metals on the product packaging or in the marketing literature.I use the unflavored powder and mix it with my breakfast cereal and my lunch cottage cheese.

Pretty good
The protein has a rich chocolate flavor that I got just from dabbing a finger in.The price is a bit high per volume & I had a heck of a time opening the jar. If this happens to you, slide a flat-screwdriver or a knife carefully & slowly around under the rim of the lid to loosen it. That seemed to do the trick for me.As it is, the soy protein isolate is smooth & perfect for a high-protein mocha or a smoothie/health-shake. I'd recommend it with yogurt & some veggies to blend for a very healthy dish.

Don't just use it just with water as the taste is too strong
We liked the price. Unfortunately the taste when only mixed with water is terrible

Works, just tastes like flour.
I got this unflavored proteing because it was one of the few soy protein powders that was non-gmo and didn't have any additives in it. The good news is this doesn't taste as vile as many people claimed, but I can confirm that it doesn't taste like soy or soy powder, but rather like flour or mild paste. And it takes time to stir it into water or milk, so you need to be patient. I drink it in water, so I taste it 100%. But i think if put in a smoothy or juice it'd be tolerable for most people. If I could find a replacement that tasted better for a bit more money I'd buy it. Till then, I'll keep using it.

Love it
10 grams of protein for a 45 calorie scoop for me is a great ratio. I’ve tried many vanilla flavored plant based protein powders and this one tastes the best. The one and only time I tried to stir it with some cashew milk it did clump up but I always use it in a ninja blender with other ingredients so it’s not really an issue. At 72 scoops per container it’s also a great value. I always have 2 scoops at a time so it still comes out to 36 (for me) and 36 servings at this price is unheard of.

I finally found another soy protein powder that I like!
Back in 2015/2016 I used a soy protein powder called “EAS.” It was discontinued in 2017/2018 and I have been searching ever since for a new one that I liked. It was very similar in taste to the vanilla version of this one and I’m so happy that I found this one! This one is a little less sweet, but that is not a bad thing to me as I can’t handle super sweet things. I bought the chocolate one as well and I hope I like it too!
