Review: Great knife, it arrived scary sharp! - Very please with the quality, great appearance, arrived scary sharp. First job was to carve up a watermelon. It was so sharp its weight alone was cutting though the inside part of the melon. Next big job was carving up a 22 pound turkey, it was still sharp when done. I do have a sharpener system similar to desertcart’s “ RUIXIN PRO RX-009 Professional Knife Sharpener”. It restored the edge after a couple months of use from just sharp back to scary sharp again. It’s a pleasure to use, cutting thin slices in a tough meat like flank steak is easy, and the thinner you cut flank steak the more tender it becomes. It’s big, I did need my Sawsall to enlarge the butcher knife slot in my knife block to hold it.

Very please with the quality, great appearance, arrived scary sharp. First job was to carve up a watermelon. It was so sharp its weight alone was cutting though the inside part of the melon. Next big job was carving up a 22 pound turkey, it was still sharp when done. I do have a sharpener system similar to Amazon’s “ RUIXIN PRO RX-009 Professional Knife Sharpener”. It restored the edge after a couple months of use from just sharp back to scary sharp again. It’s a pleasure to use, cutting thin slices in a tough meat like flank steak is easy, and the thinner you cut flank steak the more tender it becomes.
