Simple plug-n-play with Pentair EasyTouch
Easy setup, simple plug-n-play with Pentair EasyTouch. I really like the min/max valve position; it allows me to go full skim for cycling my pool and also setup 70% floor vac 30% skim during my vacuum cycle (just in case my kids nick out the vac hose my pump won’t burn out). Took no more than 30 mins to install.

Updated review after initial failure
My original review is below. I have changed my rating from 2 stars to 4 stars for now. Pentair DID end up honoring the warranty and even had a local company come out and replace my IntelliValve. So I'm changing my rating from two stars to 4 stars accordingly because it is working now. If it fails again I will update again.Original review:I'm only giving it two stars instead of one because it worked very well initially. But mine lasted about 8 months before lights started flashing on it, and then it did not work at all. I called Pentair to get warranty service on it, but they only warranty their products if they are installed by "pool professionals". I may try a different brand at this point...or I may just stick with my manual valve. Very disappointed.

DONT REPLACE - Fix it for less than $13 - including shipping.
Like many Pentair products this is designed for a short life - thankfully unlike the Pentair IC-40 chlorinator thats not waterproof (see my review of that) at least this keeps the water out.The usual failure (I've had 2) shows led's flashing incorrectly and a chattering / vibrating sound. Pentair advises "the gears are stripped" - replace with a new one.The gears are probably not stripped, the motor is most likely burnt out. If this is the case you will need a ~1" chisel, a hammer, Phillips screwdrivers and a very fine jewellers screwdriver or sewing needle. Also you will need a new motor - and here they are.....for less than $13 delivered.https://www.amazon.com/Synchronous-motor-Poles-Controlled-60SM38-12S/dp/B0B3SBY6M4/ref=sr_1_31?crid=70XOWCQTLHLI&keywords=60sm38+motor&qid=1665092779&qu=eyJxc2MiOiIwLjAwIiwicXNhIjoiMC4wMCIsInFzcCI6IjAuMDAifQ%3D%3D&sprefix=60sm38+motor%2Caps%2C125&sr=8-31(Make sure you order the -3S version)First use the chisel to separate the lid from the main body. There a little glue holding then together but go around the groove a good tap in several places and the top should pop off. Undo the 2 motor screws, lift out the motor and power up the device. If the motor shaft just vibrates then motors dead, look at the photo of old and new motor and you can see the melted plastic on old motor. If you can turn the actuator output shaft the gears should spin. If this is all true order the motor!Remove PCB by undoing 4 screws. Look closely at the picture with the tiny screwdriver in the slot above where wire enters. Push screwdriver or needle in carefully and the wire will be released. I damaged one hole on first try so had to solder the white wire on. The new motor comes with wires already attached and tinned at the correct length, so just push new wires in and make sure they are retained. Power it up and if the motor spins you are good to go!. Reassemble, I used a little RTV between lid and body just to hold lid down. Its probably worth removing actuator and ensuring the valve is not jammed by a piece of rock or wood, if it does not rotate fairly easily open it up and clear any blockage. Put a little petroleum jelly on rubber seal and re-assemble everything.
