A fly spray that works
Where was this product two weeks ago when I was slowly killing myself alongside the flies by using the original Raid spray? I came across this plant based product by accident while searching for a plug-in repellent and after reading some of the reviews I was sceptical that it would work but I was a desperate woman on the hunt for a solution that hopefully would just choke the flies and not me. The aerosol arrived the next day and it was put to work straight away. It actually floored the fly quicker than the original spray and left none of that chemical smell in the air. Absolutely brilliant purchase and Iโll be ordering more. My preference would always be not to have flies in my house in the first place but if they want to come in then they need to know that they wonโt be leaving alive. Sorry.

Not to stinky but still effective
Got this to deal with a fruit fly problem we had developed round our foodwaste bin, as it was kitchen adjacent I didn't want anything to "chemically" This does the job well and is pretty benign in terms of odour. deals with the small fruitflys we were getting and I don't mind using it round the pantry/kitchen area

Less toxic, no scent, subtly effective.
Wanted a less toxic fly spray, especially as we have children and dogs. This spray doesn't smell of anything. It doesn't kill the flies immediately but it seems to weaken them and within an hour or so they fall to the floor so they can be swept up and disposed of. It's quite expensive and doesn't last that long when the flies suddenly break out, but it is quietly and subtly effective. I tried ordering more from the same seller but twice received the toxic version instead so I will continue to buy the product but find another seller.

Effective and less toxic
This spray is less toxic than the original but actually seems more effective. There have been more flies about this year due to the heat wave, and I was glad to find this option as I have pets. The flies seem to drop and die much more quickly with this spray, and there isn't a horrible smell from the product. I would definitely buy again.

Not as effective on wasps IMO
I've given the Raid Plant Based Wasp & Mosquito Killer a go, and it's a bit of a mixed bag, to be honest. It's clearly meant to be a more natural alternative to the usual insect sprays, with its plant-derived active bits. Here's what I've found: Effectiveness: It does seem to work on flies and mosquitoes; I'll give it that. I've zapped a few buzzing about the kitchen, and they were down and out. However, it's not the quickest. I'm used to the old Raid, which pretty much drops them on the spot. This stuff seems to take a bit longer, which can be a tad frustrating when you've got a persistent fly bothering you. Wasps are a different story. It's not as effective on them, in my experience. They seem a bit more resilient, and it takes a good spray to get them to buzz off, and even then, it's not always a quick kill. Scent and Formulation: One thing I do like is the smell, or rather, the lack of it. It's much more neutral than the usual chemical pong you get with these things. The fact that it's a water-based formula is also a plus. It doesn't leave that greasy residue, and it's less worrying to use around the house. Overall: Raid Plant Based Wasp & Mosquito Killer is alright, I suppose. It's a potentially gentler way to deal with flying insects, and if you're sensitive to strong smells or prefer more natural products, it could be worth a try. Just don't expect it to be as fast-acting or as effective on everything as the traditional stuff. It's a trade-off, really.

Works a dream
Canโt fault this product. Bought to clear a multiple fly issue in house with a budgie, and within 5 mins of spraying in both halves of the room we were fly-less, after odourless spraying and budgie is quite happy. Well worth the extra expense for lack of odour and happy budgie.

Not overly effective.
My files must be tuff, not overly effective. It does work if you catch them with it, straight on.
