It has NEVER fallen out, even when I accidentally kicked it across the floor and it got stepped on. **Q: If you press reset and it goes back to zero are those steps still included in the total? Thanks** A: The total steps still are there, but not the daily. **Q: Do you have to reprogram time, stride and weight when you change the batteries?? Thanks** A: Yes, you do have to reprogram.
