It slips very easily under a fried egg to turn it without breaking the yolk. I have used it for cookies, brownies, and all manner of baked goods. I have also flipped and picked up burgers with it - not on a grill but in a skillet. I never make burgers that weigh more than a quarter pound, and it will pick up a 1/4 pound cheeseburger no problem. This is the best spatula I have ever owned. It is so thin and flexible, I keep thinking it will surely break, but 10+ years later it is still totally intact and I use it a lot. However, the tiny tack welds holding the handle to the very thin blade was not sturdy enough to make it last longer than a few months. No matter how hard I tried to be gentle with it, the blade broke loose from the handle.
