Is this an easy instal, meaning do you need to do any modifications to the bike or seat to attach it?** A: Functionality of the seat is unchanged except of course the space beneath it will be smaller. Yes the hinge and lock still work as normal. Installation is the simplest- just unbolt the stock seat and bolt this one on. Let me add that this is the FIRST modification I recommended for the Ruckus! It lowers the center of gravity significantly making a big improvement in turning response. Seats on conventional scooters cannot be lowered much at all but this item makes a big big difference. Finally if like me you consider a rear rack essential, I recommend the "Ruck Rack." It fits this seat perfectly. Unfortunately it's been a long time since I bought mine and can't tell you where I got it but a simple search online should yield the answer. Have fun, ride safe! **Q: Does this fit a 2015 50cc Honda ruckus?** A: Yes! I put one on my 2015 Ruckus and it was the only mod I did that made me say "Why didn't I do this earlier?" You can't believe the difference it makes in performance! I’m 6’1 and the factory position put me too close to the handlebars; after 10-15 minutes the ride became uncomfortable. This is the perfect solution BUT ONLY IF you move the seat back. If you mount this in the factory position the seat will be way too low and STILL too close to the bars. I used this frame with the NCY adjustable seat kit (https://smile.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00CMU9AIO?ref=ppx_pt2_mob_b_prod_image)and now my Ruckus rocks! There are no instructions but very straightforward to install. Had a bit of difficulty getting all the holes to align. The screw holding on the helmet lock is tricky to remove. I very gently ground a slot in it with my Dremel and then removed it with a standard screwdriver. The pic shows frame installed with the NCY adjustable seat kit. Definitely a necessary upgrade, IMO, if you’re 6’1 or taller. Handles better and is much more comfortable to ride now.
