This do not product much heat unless it is not fully ventilated correctly or the power source it is pulling from is weak as it puts a strain on the compressor. Looking at what’s better long term.** A: i do not run my unit unless I am using it on a camping trip, or to keep extra beer cold at home. This is only an opinion, but I suspect the unit will run longer without failure if it is used intermittently vs continuously **Q: Does dometic warranty work if purchased from this Amazon seller?** A: I don’t know of any reason why the warranty wouldn’t be good. It wasn't cheap but I work away from home and the ability to bring frozen and prepared meals with me has saved time and a lot of money. It works perfectly and it's nearly silent other than the odd time the compressor runs (which most people won't hear unless they sit right beside it). Elle émet environ 45dB sous forme de ronronnement lors de son activité de refroidissement et 0dB au repos. J’aime qu’elle puisse être alimentée électriquement de 3 façons: batterie, secteur et solaire. J’utilise aussi un parasurtenseur de frigo pour mieux protéger son compresseur.
