Working well, enjoying trunk lid staying open again
Easy to install on a 2013 Subaru Outback. Fit was perfect and took maybe 10 min to install after watching a YouTube video to show the steps and which size wrenches to use (10mm socket and 12mm open wrench. Seem to be working well and much cheaper than paying a repair shop to replace them but we'll see how long they last for. Cheap and easy to replace when they fail though.

Solid replacement struts that keep working
I installed these rear hatch struts on my Nissan Xterra after the original ones got weak and started dropping the liftgate. The swap was straightforward, and they fit the factory mounting points without any drama. The best part is the long term reliability. Mine have been on for the past few years and they still hold the hatch up confidently, even when I am loading gear and taking my time. No more worrying about the liftgate slowly sinking or coming down unexpectedly. They do feel strong, especially right after installation, so closing the hatch can take a little more effort at first. For me, that tradeoff is worth it for the safety and convenience. If your rear hatch will not stay up anymore, these are an easy fix that has held up well over time.

Tight at first but work them a little and they fit like a glove! Quick and easy install!
I got these as replacement for my car hatch. These come extended and need to soften in, making it tricky to get them on at first--and likely leading people to think they don't fit but they do! This was a simple swap as soon as I figured out that the old metal rings have to pop out. Then it's just a pop back on. My (amazing) mechanic quoted $120 for parts and labor. This took me 15 minutes (I could do it in 5 now) and cost me $30. So well worth it! It keeps the hatch all the way open now- high up and out of the way. The hatch closes perfectly, they lift quickly, and they close easily. They look just like my other ones. Great product, easy install. I'm considering buying some for a cabinet project I have.

Fit perfectly and saved over $650 from dealer quote
Dealer wanted $690 to replace the rear hatch struts on my sister's 2014 Lexus RX450H. I ordered these and had delivered. Took about 5 minutes to remove the 4 clips and pop these on. It is easier to have a second person to lift the gate up. Perfect fit and holds the hatch open. Auto close function works flawlessly. I did watch a YouTube video first even though I have replaced the struts on my own vehicle in the past. Saved over $650 by DIY. These appear to be well made and will last a long time.

A few MM longer than OEM but Function good overall.
Shocks Snap right in no need to pull the metal clip. I noticed that the shocks are a few mm longer than OEM making them extend longer and open higher than my previous shocks, It appears to be fine and does not affect the function of the design and use. Over all good shocks.

Works great. Easy install on 2005 Chevrolet Trailblazer.
Nice replacement for worn out struts on our 2005 Trailblazer. We just picked up this SUV with only 30K miles on it (average is only 1500 miles a year) but the struts seemed weak and we had to lift the tailgate. These new struts lift the tailgate for us. Installation was easy. You need to pop off the ball joint clips on the bottom and top of the old strut, pull it off the ball posts (easy, they just pop off), take the clips off the new strut, firmly pop it on the ball posts (should hear them snap onto the post), then push the clips back on. The top clips can be a little difficult - get the clip into the rear slot first then work your way around front with a flat head screwdriver. It needs to be fully seated in the slots to prevent the strut from popping off. You’ll understand once you look at the strut - it’s pretty simple. Also I did not need to keep the strut compressed to install - just pushed up on the tailgate a bit. Did it on my own but you may want a 2x4 or a second set of hands to hold up the tailgate while you work. Total install time for both struts was about 15 minutes.
